Clean, comfy and charismatic! We stayed here in order to take the Fall Excursion train ride to Jim Thorpe. We always support small business owners and their dreams and the Maids Quarters was another fine example! Congrats Allyson and success to you in the future.

Our thoughtful hostess, Allyson, began setting the stage for our visit by helping me navigate the on-line booking process. She followed the booking confirmation with very clear and helpful instructions for parking and gaining access to our accommodations. As well as a list of nearby places where we could have lunch or dinner. Her decor choices were charming and comfortable. She had thoughtfully included some chocolates and chips for snacks and some scones in the main lounge with some board games. She had provided instructions to operate the TV, coffeemaker, air-conditioned and fan. She had even included a device to generate calming background sounds to aid her guests' slumber. Her choice of amenities with was lovely as well: soft fluffy towels and facecloths, including dark ones for removing makeup, and quality soaps, shampoo and lotion, even a natural , lavender scented air-freshening spray for the bathroom. She also provided both bottled water and a Brita water pitcher for filtered water for the coffeemaker in the in-room fridge. Our breakfast was delicious with a very nice menu selection! I am very fussy about how my eggs are cooked and her omelette was perfect! Her staff, Krista, was so sweet and helpful. She mentioned to the cook (Allyson) that I was unable to eat kiwi or pineapple that were included with the fresh fruit side dish. She very kindly provided me with a tasty serving of fresh mixed berries leaving out the other fruit. I was struggling with a scratchy throat in the morning, and asked for a mug of boiled water with a teaspoon of salt for gargling. She asked if I'd like it first or after my meal and ensured I had it. She also obliged my request for some ice cubes. We also enjoyed delightful conversation with other guests. I will happily recommend The Maid's Quarters to friends and family and colleagues at work. I hope we can enjoy another stay in future.

My wife and I stayed while getting our car repaired, and I must say it is a quiet place with breakfast to die for. We were able to tour the other rooms as well, and I will say they all have their own decor and personality.
If you are in the area, this is a must-stay! And again, the breakfast was great!

The Maid's Quarters was fabulous in all ways! Allyson the owner knows the definition of hospitality from beginning to end. The attention to detail in the rooms was appreciated with the extra bath towels, toilet tissue, q-tips, review book, snacks, waters, lighting, tv, full length mirror on the door and the make up removal towels. I felt at home and look forward to going back. Allyson's tea room is exquisite and her scones are worth the calories. Allyson also prepared a delicious breakfast made to order! We will be back!!! Thank you, Allyson!

Very happy with our decision to stay at the Maid's Quarters. Rooms were super cozy, breakfast was delicious and Christa and Allyson were incredibly welcoming. Only thing I'd say is check to see what's open if you plan on visiting during the week as many businesses are closed Mon-Wed/Thurs.

Very welcoming rooms. Comfortable bed. House has lots of character. Delicious breakfast that you choose off a little menu. We were off stretch and was worried but traffic slows quite a bit overnight.

The maids quarters is an amazing bnb. The rooms are immaculately clean, the breakfast was fantastic, and there is close parking across the street for vehicles.

Allyson, the host, designed and themed the rooms based on the surrounding area. The room I stayed in, Lavender Haven, was themed on the lavender farms nearby, and has everything lavender: scents, colors. The shampoo, conditioner, soap bar, soap foam, and lotion were all lavender. It's such an impressive arrangement.

Arriving at the bnb without the formal check in went along smoothly. You follow the instructions given by Allyson and receive your keys without any issues.

The rooms are in the upper floor and require going up a few stairs.

The tea room which serves as the dining room, and the room where you have breakfast, is spectacular. So many hidden items to look at. Allyson also has arranged a plethora of information regarding the area there. Very useful for people who want to explore the area.

For breakfast I had a customized omelet along with some sweet bread and a small selection of fruits. It was great.

Allyson and Christa were very kind and interested in hearing where I'm from and where I'm planning to go. They had plenty of recommendations to give as well.

I would only recommend arriving a bit earlier than 1900 since local options for dinner close early. I walked from the bnb to the center of town.

I'd definitely stay here again if I were in the area! So happy I decided to stop here along my way. Thanks again to Allyson and Christa (hope I got your name right!).

Attached are photos of my breakfast, the room, the tea room and the bathroom in my room which were spotless and clean.

The Maid's Quarters B&B has an abundance of charm and character. We were passing through town and needed a place to rest for the night. The convenient 24/7 self-check in saved us from staying at a chain hotel. Our room was clean, charming, and cozy. It felt like we were staying in a family member's guest house. Allyson greeted us in the morning with a delicious made-to-order breakfast and superb tea list. We were so incredibly happy to stumble upon this gem!

This is the second time we have stayed at the The Maids Quarters. It is a convenient distance from our destination and that is what led us here both times. It is an old building but Allyson has made improvements and the rooms are quite comfortable. There are a lot of nice little things that have made the stay more enjoyable. Good coffee and tea, chocolates and other snacks are also available. The bathroom even offered Q-tips. The breakfast was delicious on both occasions. Allyson is a great host.

The second time we went for the Mother's Day tea service. Absolutely lovely. I'm looking forward to going again next year.

Absolutely Charming B&B - Perfect Pottsville Getaway!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at The Maids Quarters on a Saturday night this past March after touring the Yuengling Brewery. What a delightful find! The location is incredibly convenient, within easy walking distance of great spots for dinner and drinks.

We stayed in the Maid's Suite on the 3rd floor, and it was fantastic. It's spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We especially loved the cozy window perch! It's the perfect room for a couple's getaway. What really impressed us was the incredible attention to detail. From the cold water waiting in the fridge and readily available snacks to the wonderfully comfortable beds and even locally made soaps – every touch added to the charm and made us feel welcome.

The B&B itself is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful murals throughout. And the breakfast? Absolutely excellent – the perfect way to start our day. Considering the quality of the room and the overall experience, the pricing was very reasonable. We genuinely loved our stay and are already trying to find excuses to visit Pottsville again just so we can stay at The Maids Quarters. Highly recommend!
