The Maid's Quarters Bed, Breakfast & Tearoom

The Maid's Quarters B&B has an abundance of charm and character. We were passing through town and needed a place to rest for the night. The convenient 24/7 self-check in saved us from staying at a chain hotel. Our room was clean, charming, and cozy. It felt like we were staying in a family member's guest house. Allyson greeted us in the morning with a delicious made-to-order breakfast and superb tea list. We were so incredibly happy to stumble upon this gem!

This is the second time we have stayed at the The Maids Quarters. It is a convenient distance from our destination and that is what led us here both times. It is an old building but Allyson has made improvements and the rooms are quite comfortable. There are a lot of nice little things that have made the stay more enjoyable. Good coffee and tea, chocolates and other snacks are also available. The bathroom even offered Q-tips. The breakfast was delicious on both occasions. Allyson is a great host.

The second time we went for the Mother's Day tea service. Absolutely lovely. I'm looking forward to going again next year.

Check in was super easy, Alison is very responsive even though she isn't on site. Breakfast was amazing!

Absolutely Charming B&B - Perfect Pottsville Getaway!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at The Maids Quarters on a Saturday night this past March after touring the Yuengling Brewery. What a delightful find! The location is incredibly convenient, within easy walking distance of great spots for dinner and drinks.

We stayed in the Maid's Suite on the 3rd floor, and it was fantastic. It's spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We especially loved the cozy window perch! It's the perfect room for a couple's getaway. What really impressed us was the incredible attention to detail. From the cold water waiting in the fridge and readily available snacks to the wonderfully comfortable beds and even locally made soaps – every touch added to the charm and made us feel welcome.

The B&B itself is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful murals throughout. And the breakfast? Absolutely excellent – the perfect way to start our day. Considering the quality of the room and the overall experience, the pricing was very reasonable. We genuinely loved our stay and are already trying to find excuses to visit Pottsville again just so we can stay at The Maids Quarters. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay when in town

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night so we could visit the Yuengling brewery and we were very pleased with our stay. The property is very conveniently located and beautiful. Allyson the innkeeper was wonderful and friendly. She cooked a delicious salmon omelet for my breakfast and everything else was great as well. We stayed at the Lavender Haven room which is perfect for a couple. Would definitely return

The best cozy warm home feeling 1st time ever breakfast in bed. I have to say. I highly recommend if u like a calm night with your honey with an amazing option to pick from for your breakfast. Omg the tea. Omg to die for. I went for the Lavender room loved!!!! And the chocolate coconut tea ufffff. I’ll definitely b back. Just because xoxo. Thank you so much

This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. We are so glad that we chose The Maid's Quarters. Everything about our experience was incredible, from our room , our breakfast, the ease of rental, to the cleanliness of the building. Allyson is so nice and very attentive to those who stay here. We stayed in the Lavender room and i had some concerns with the size of the shower since i am 6ft1 295lb. Allyson assured me everything would be fine and it was. This is a place we will definitely be visiting again. If you are looking for a place to stay and want to feel like you are staying with family this is the place you want to stay at. We planned a baby shower for our sister in law at the Maid’s Quarters tearoom and it was such a special and memorable afternoon! Allyson was wonderful to work with during the planning process and she was extremely detailed and communicative. She also helped us plan the menu around some dietary restrictions. The space was perfectly cozy and a great size for a small shower. Allie our server was very sweet and attentive. Our guests were so complementary of the yummy tea and food! If you’re looking to plan a small private event, I highly recommend Allyson and her sweet & charming tearoom!

Allyson does an amazing job at making one feel at home here. She pays attention to small details, everything is immaculately clean and a wonderful breakfast is icing on the cake. I will be staying at this bed and breakfast again.

We had a wonderful Sisters' Christmas Tea here! They were very accommodating for those of us who must eat dairy free and gluten-free. I would go back here anytime I am in the area!
