Got it for the first time on the last day they were open before they close. Food was excellent grilled cheese was perfectly cooked and tater tots were very delicious and crab Mac and cheese was great

This place is great, definitely going again. You make your own grilled sandwich with their many selections. Also have to get their Wheel fries, excellent choice.

I just experienced a Culinary Orgasm at the Wheel Restaurant..Grilled cheese with steak, caramelized onions, pierogies, Mac and cheese on whole wheatwith a Pennsylvania inspired Chili and yummy croutons. Of course a side of pierogies.

Build your own gourmet grilled cheese - how does it get better than that? Tons of options to choose from and if you don't want to pick they have some fun concoctions you can just order off the menu. The sweet potato fries were recommended by our server (who was super helpful and friendly) and they're excellent - crispy with a sweet sauce that's really good. Place was busy even late afternoon but they got it right in and the service was great.

First time there….great experience!! Friendly staff. You can build your own sandwich. You will leave with a full belly and satisfied with your choices. Will go again and definitely encourage someone else to go for the first time!!!The homemade Mac and cheese with crab meat - absolutely terrific!!!!

Waitress was friendly and provided excellent service. Kielbasi Reuben was great. Would definitely eat there again if visiting the Pottsville area in the future.

Got the crab Mac and cheese and the bacon ranch melt sandwich with fries.....Mac and cheese container was in box on top of my fries which mushed them a bit also not very sanitary to have containers that are out on top of my food....didn't matter much because fries looked and tasted like they were made this morning and heated up....crab Mac and cheese was ok but little pricey for the size you get....sandwich was ok but didn't have much flavor...didn't really taste any ranch in it...kinda bland....overall wasn't too impressed...had high hopes but this place just fell short.....was worth a try.....just an update the wheel reached out that day as you see below but when I emailed them I never got a response....its been a week so far....I'm open to giving additional information if needed but don't want potential customers thinking that you actually reached out after requesting for me to email you....my email is still there is you actually want the additional information you said you did @wheelpottsville

Amazing grilled cheese. I got ribeye, Italian white bread, tomato, Muenster cheese, bacon jam. No complaints. Better than the Grilled Cheeserie in Nashville.

We came in town for the 5k. I had multiple recommendations to go to Wheel so it was on our list. Cool little spot on the corner. Sat at the bar. I liked the made to order menu. We all loved the bacon bombs. I love places with fresh cut fries. Sandwich was very good. We chatted with the manager for a bit who was really nice as was the rest of the staff. The prices were reasonable. Hopefully we’ll be back for next year!
WHAT A SANDWICH!! This place has a really cool concept of building your own grilled sandwich, and from the taste of it they're using top shelf ingredients. Friendly personable staff, that delivered fantastic service. Great craft beer selection and full bar to boot. Definitely NOT a sandwich shop to pass up.

My boyfriend and I tried the Wheel last weekend. It was DELICIOUS! The staff was also super friendly and attentive. We also got the crab fries and they were SO GOOD. Only a half order is needed, they're a big portion! Our sandwiches were amazing and we are definitely planning on going back again soon. Highly recommend! ?

Came here after Yuengling brewery tour, based on the ratings. Didn't expect only grilled cheese sandwich. But it wasn't only grilled cheese, it's a build your own grilled cheese. I got one with a burger and spicy mayo and it hit the spot. Washed it down with beer. Yuengling makes the list as well as several other craft beers. They also have spiked milkshakes and cocktails.

Really good overall! Only retracted a star because 1) wasn’t really expecting there to be so much of a wait and 2) if you play safe and go more basic, it’s nothing that you can’t just make at home. Being my first time, I went safe and did white bread, American and mozzarella, and grilled chicken.. and that was average, still yum, but idk if worth paying for it. However, if you really customize and go more in.. definitely worth it. Their cheese sauce is to die for! Waitress was incredibly kind. Husband ordered truffle fries and instantly regretted it the minute it hit the table.. wasn’t what he was expecting, and they ever do kindly offered plain fries with the cheese sauce and took the other off our bill for us. Absolutely recommend, just make sure you have time for the wait! I was expecting more of like a deli “walk up, order, take and go” type of deal. But they actually seat you and everything. So, as long as you take that into account, definitely 5 star. ?
