Neko's Restaurant & Lounge

We had a nice lunch here. People were friendly. Food was very good. Service was fast. I recommend the Fish Sandwich. It was very good. Sides were good.

The food portions are enough for two and the service was amazing. This restaurant is known for it's delicious unique desserts. It did not disappoint! They have a cake that is like a strawberry Captain Crunch bar. It has a cake with the strawberry crunch pieces and the bottom layer is cheesecake. The dessert assortment allows something for everyone, gob cake and carrots cake to name a few.

I've been reviewing restaurants for awhile now and I've finally had the pleasure of visiting Neko's. A family place named after the owners son. Upon entering you will see pictures of family even the newest just weeks old has made its spot on the wall already.

Let's start with your service, very friendly and efficient. Keep in mind they will be very busy. Drinks came quickly, order was placed within a reasonable time and food was out quick with appetizers in and out.

So the food in order as recieved, I was slightly disappointed when I seen the wilting lettuce for my salad, but it came with the meal so I kept an open mind. I ordered wings.... after noticing they were boneless. But tbh they were really good. The small loaf bread was awesome. Im sure I could of asked for butter but it was good but not homemade. I ordered the meatloaf. Traditional because its very easy to make , homemade.... nope.... but it came with a choice of 2 sides as well. Fries covered with gravy.. a Pennsylvania thing but not fresh...

So onto desserts.... This was all homemade, cheesecakes and pies... The top seller.....scooter crunch... they have a bunch of different kinds... ALL Delicious.

The owner was a great family guy, he made his way around and you can tell why this place gets packed.... I obviously look for as much home cooked food as a plus but add price vs value in my reviews and this restaurant although not open everyday and not serving breakfast is my new goto as every other location nearby fails in comparison. You owe it to yourself to make Neko's your next stop for dinner.

Waited 20 minutes to order. Waited so long for the bill we just went up to the register and was over charged an extra small spaghetti special.

We were visiting from out of state and decided to take a chance on Neko’s — and we are so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is incredible. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful, authentic timber frame building that makes the whole experience feel both unique and welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger over your meal and savor every bite. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area — it’s a gem worth seeking out!

The deserts are where this restruant shines. I've never had a pie like the one I had here. I had there spaghetti and there pizza. Both were pretty good but I felt the sauce in the spaghetti was lacking in flavor. The atmosphere is pretty nice. Not too loud, not too quiet. The staff are all very friendly. It took a little while to get my food but granted there were quite a bit of people in there so I'm not gonna complain too much. Overall 4/5 stars.

We stopped in on our way to Cook Forest, and we are so glad we did! The food and service was excellent. The piece of gob cake we ordered for dessert was the size of my head - and delicious! We'll definitely be back when we're back in Punxy!
