Don't trust the new owners. They are not from the area and have very poor business ethics. We scheduled to host a 2 hour brunch, on Easter, the day following our son's wedding for out of town guests. We met with Tarek on Jan. 10. Worked out a menu and was offered the room for free. A week before the event we provided the final count. We were then informed, because business was picking up, they wanted to now charge us $400 for the room, which he would now normally charge $800-$1,000. My concern was he would change his mind and hold us ransom on the day with a higher charge. I asked for him to put in writing everything he expects from us and what he would provide so eveyone is on the same page and there's no confusion. He said he spoke to his partner and they are canceling because we are changing the terms (asking for it in writing). Being Easter, there are no other venues available on such short notice. This is why we booked months in advance. We've now been forced to cancel brunch for the wedding guests. Tarek, the owner, didn't care. He only saw by cancelling us, he can make more money that day. It seems money is his only goal not becoming a part of and serving the community.

Tried this diner out for the first time. Definitely wasn’t fancy but they have individual jukeboxes at each booth and 24 hour breakfast which is why we went here. The food itself was underwhelming and the server was nice.

Really is a nice local diner with alot of patrons who Looked happy. Place was clean. food was ready in decent time and delicious. Friendly waitress but they were definitely short staffed One thing for the owner/owners is to have someone at the register always.I waited there with two other guys to pay literally 8 minutes. That's was easily 100 bucks could of walked out the door. I dont want this place to lose their hard earned money. But I'd definitely come back again.

New owners and managers. Now open long hours. Salad bar is nicely done with very good assortment. New menu. Portions good. Soups are good. Table service is good to excellent. Clean and well maintained.
A huge improvement over previous operations! Fair prices.
This diner has gone from ‘meh’ to a welcoming destination.

We've been to P&F twice since the new owners took over. Breakfast was great and dinner tonight was delicious. Ordered a California Cheeseburger and Gyro with fries. Both very good and great prices. Our server Alex was so pleasant and helpful too. Will definitely return to try the other menu items.

Have not been to John’s in a long time. I heard it was under new ownership so we decided to give it another try. It was not busy at all and there were at least 3 people serving tables. So we were seated and given our drinks. All the other tables were getting attention as they should. Our server just disappeared and came out of back putting on her lip gloss. My wife and her made eye contact so we figured ok she will come over and at take our order now. Well after 10 minutes we looked over now she is eating at the salad bar and hanging out laughing with someone from the back. We stood up and walked towards the cashier and all of a sudden she wants to help us. I told her I would just like to pay for our drinks no thanks. I can’t say anything about the food because unfortunately never got that far. We won’t be coming back. BAD SERVICE!!! If she would have leased taken our order that would have been good enough for me.
Went for dinner tonight and the waitress gave us our drinks and then decided to take a break without taking our food order. We waited ten minutes before leaving. It would have been okay if she would have taken our order before she decided to put lipgloss on and flirt with another worker and then eat from the salad bar. We will not be back.

NEW OWNERSHIP IS DOING THINGS RIGHT! Ordered lunch from here today for the first time in easily 8+ years and it was a 10/10. I had a crabcake sandwich, it was amazing. Affordable good quality food. Also to note, ever since the new owners took over, their parking lot has gone from a ghost town to progressively more packed with each passing week. Keep it up!!

French fries cold,, cold coffee, waitress not pleasant... Asked for lemon with water, did not get it! Waitress had bad attitude just basically threw food plates on table and walked away... Asked waitress for a box to go, couple seconds later. She got the box and gave it to different table....hmm... We will not be back, this is not the first time we've had difficulties with food and wait staff at this establishment....

My open face hot roast beef sandwich, the gravy it was cold. When I set up to the waitress about it, her answer was why do you want me to warm it up for you . I would go back there. After talking to the manager he did throw away the bill. But that doesn’t make up for the problem. I will never go back. The next day I was sick
