Absolute best breakfast around. A little pricy, but the food is worth it. It is always crowded and you will likely have to wait for a seat.

This was the third time my husband and I went there to eat. The first time and second time nobody seated us. We were told to go ahead and seat ourselves. The third time we waited at the top of the stairs...no one told us to wait. We were seated by a very hateful waitress and didn't like our seats. We asked her if we could move...she very reluctantly told us we could. There were numerous seats in the restaurant. She had an attitude right from the start. Another person came to take our order and I told her I was sorry we asked to move because the waitress got angry. She said it was a problem. My husband said isn't the customer always right and she said, no they are not. She was very rude also. My husband asked to speak to the manager and she said good...he's my husband ....turns out she and her husband are the owners. It is really too bad they don't know how to treat people. I am sure the waitress must have been related to the owners because she would have been fired if she was working for me. You don't get angry because someone wasn't happy with their seating. Needless to say, we will not be going back...the customer service and the way they treat people leaves a lot to be desired. The second time we went there we even took people with us. Never again....rude people.

Wow, what a wonderful surprise going here for breakfast. The food was outstanding, and the service staff was on target, just an overall excellent dining experience. The only downside is the wait, but it's well worth it. Will be definitely going back soon.

In April 2024, It was my wedding day and we (the girls as we were getting ready for our day) used Karlton cafe for a breakfast sandwich tray and also cinnamon buns, etc. It was something I didn’t think about until fairly last minute- like less than a month before my wedding day. They fit me in no problem, communicated everything very well and were so easy to work with. They made sure everything worked out in perfect timing and I couldn’t be more grateful! I’d recommend them a million times over. Everything was delicious, it was just the fuel all of us needed to make it through.
I just spent about 3 hours at Karlton Cafe! I’m a mom of 3 and I don’t get out with my best friend very often (she is also a mom of 2) so finding a place where we can sit and eat, have a few drinks and talk too much for too long is hard to find! Which we totally get because restaurants have to keep business flowing… BUT, they allowed us to sit there, for 3 hours! We didn’t even realize how much time had passed by bc it’s usually the waitresses that keep us on track with what time it is.. but not here. It’s like they knew it is exactly what our mamas heart needed and I cannot express how amazing I think that is. They even closed while we were there (which we had no idea!!) and they let us just sit there!
Thank you so much for the hospitality and the kindness you extended to us! You may not have known it in the moment but it really meant so much!

We had the sausage gravy over biscuits. The flavor was great BUT it was COLD! We waited 45 minutes for COLD FOOD! Also, one of the cooks was vaping on the line while cooking. Very disappointed.

So my job decided to do lunch, so I suggested this place due to the fact I have eaten here a few times along with other co-workers. Well today I had the Steak Sandwich – with Cooper American on a fresh baguette $14. The sandwich was extremely dry and lack of meat with a bad taste, other co-workers were also dissatisfied with their meals also. Highly disappointed not sure if it's the delivery take out or what? won't be having anything no time soon.
