I’m from the Midwest just passing thru, I love these non commercialized mom n pop restaurants who are trying to survive among corporations, loved this place, ate here twice in one day, great service and atmosphere, thanks for the visit

I ordered the pot roast and it was fatty and tough to eat. I ordered a unsweetened fresh brewed iced tea. It didn't taste that good. Then I changed the it up to a sweet tea and was charged for that. I was not told that I would be charged. On top of everything else there was free refills but I was charged. The waitress was so rude and was not going to give any explanation. I was so disappointed in my visit today. The bright side the ice cream was good and you get a very big portion and it came with hot fudge 😋 yummy.
As a note... I was not asked how my dinner was.. Also I'd like to say that I wasn't looking for a reimbursement of my meal. The waitress we had was not the tall one but the other one with a round face..

My daughter and her hubby took me out for breakfast and it was delicious! I highly recommend the Belgium Waffle with fruit topping!!

Worst , dinner I ever had. I had the thanksgiving turkey dinner platter... it's June, 1 2025 and it tasted like it was from thanksgiving. I have never seen dark brown filling. It was like dog food.. except I wouldn't feed that to my dog. I honestly left the restaurant and puked in parking lot. I wish I could leave zero stars . This place

you think eating this disgusting food, walking into the parking lot and throwing up is over dramatic? WOW, did you even look at my plate? I ate half and knew something was nasty, I excused myself from my family and rid the food from my stomach. $90 for road side food especially when it's microwaved crap isn't over dramatic. Face it It's garbage food hardly fit for farm animals

They’ll let you park there, but I wouldn’t park there unless I went in and had a nice meal. Looks like a nice restaurant. I went up the street to the truckstop on the left the 309. He paid $10 there it was a good value.

Friendly server, reasonable prices, the chicken corn chowder was REALLY good (tasted homemade), seafood basket was ok (frozen), I'd skip the fries though as they were kind of rubbery and cold. I'd still go back though for that chowder :)

But honestly, waitress was amazing, kind, attentive, best part of the restaurant.

Kathy's is a great spot to catch an affordable meal. Food is good, staff is nice and the prices are fair.

I stopped in yesterday and I had the Creme Brulee French Toast! This dish was so good. Getting the sweat taste from the creme brule sauce, the fluffy texture of the whipped cream and salty yet crunchy taste of the roasted peacans on top of a soft bite into the sweat bananas and french toast has now made this a new favorite breakfast dish for me.

I forgot to get a picture but it was an eat with your eyes treat as well. I had to try a dessert so I went with the apple dupling with chocolate ice cream and to that I added the creme Brulee sauce on top 😋 this was 10/10 a great stop you have earned yourselves a new regular!

Very cute stop on the highway, the food is good and the staff seem nice for the most part, prices are a bit high for what they serve but still not a bad stop!!
