While on returning to Phila from a hike on the Appalachian Trail I always stop and get an 18 in Italian Hoagie. Made fresh with quality meets and friendly service.

The best hoagies in the area. I stop by and grab a Turkey Hoagie every 2-3 weeks when I am home.

I live in the Poconos and every time I get to Quakertown I get a Jewish hoagie to take home!!! If I could I would give it 10 stars!!!! 🤩

The staff was very nice. Place needs major renovations, including remediating a sewer problem in the restroom and out back.
In my personal opinion, the hoagies were ok. The bread was fresh, but the meats were not to my liking. Im a lunch meat snob, and these meats were low grade like food store brand vs. Boars Head. This is my first time and my last time eating here.

Much like the interior of this location, Lee's hasn't changed a bit since the 80's. Same awesome hoagies and service. The inside is literally in need of a fire, but the food is fantastic
And they have lots of A-Treat as well.
***I just want to emphasize that this place needs to either burn down or get a serious remodeling. I like the food, but the ability to be sanitary is in question given the condition of the building, bathrooms, and HVAC (or lack thereof).***
Kid-friendliness: I would leave the kids home and take the sandwiches to them, for all our sakes

My friend and I stopped in to get lunch. I used the rest room while she looked at the menu. It was the filthiest rest room I've ever seen. Large garbage can overflowing with trash all over floor. Sink coming off wall, etc. I walked back out front and had to be careful not to trip over the bucket that was catching the rain water coming through the ceiling. This place is a dump and I can't believe the owner takes such little pride in their name to allow this. I did not order food after what I saw.

Very friendly staff and absolutely delicious cheese steak. It would have been nice to be in the air conditioning while I ate after riding the motorcycle for 5 hours. They even had a soda I have not seen in many years. The soda and cheese steak were both very good and I hope one day they can open another store closer to my home. Try them out, it's well worth it.

Place is completely run down, ceiling is even caving in. Don't expect heat in the winter or ac in the summer. It's a shame I remember at least 20 yrs ago and how it used to be. When I was a kid I loved going to the newtown Lee's right next to choices video, can still remember how good things used 2 be

Great cheesesteak, generous portions. It would be a 6 star if they only had Cooper cheese. Cooper cheese shredded from blocks (not slices) is what others do. Overall they are a go to spot if you don't want Cooper cheese.
