First time here...a lot to take it/learn. So, park on the back and head to the back right entrance. Once in, the food prep area is immediately in front of you. Head to the left of the register, find a menu, and see what you want to order. Soup is self serve on an outside counter. All the food is definitely prepared to order and by hand. No microwaves or frozen food in sight. The overall food prep area is minimalist. Older mismatched appliances and metal wire shelving create a rustic vibe. Ordered sandwiches and soup. Sat and waited...and waited....and waited....and waited. The place is massive...I don't even know that I saw how big it how many people were there, but they were slammed and behind. Received a couple check ins and apologies during my 55 minute wait before getting my food and heading back home to the fam to eat. Good was great and HUGE portions. I'll buy 1 for 2 people next time and call it in. I feel like no one could possibly know what to expect the first visit given the eclectic setup and style, but by 2nd visit, your likely a pro. Didn't even get to walk by all the random "food boutique" items they had there... Will definitely go back.Parking: Lots of parking around back. No lines.

Had the BEST olive, tomato, cucumber and dressing i've had in a long time. Very crisp and chilled just right large portions, table wait staff needs training, S L O W to say the least. Had to self serve coffee for my table.Parking: Big lot, no stripes, haphazard araingemnt of cars?Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance ok, BUT NO BATHROOM ACCESS.

My first time to eat here. Very good and tasty. The amount of food was huge, too much for my girl friend and I to finish eating in one sitting, anyway there is always tomorrow for a second meal.Small chicken pot pie and honey mustard, cheddar cheese chicken sandwich. Will be back again

Quality and quantity is excellent. Definitely not fast food but good, healthy food that you wait for. The decor is farm rustic. This is my favorite Quakertown restaurant.

I like this place and it's in a hip little building. Food prices can be a little high, but it's a farm to table and they keep it local. Food is fresh and and different. Handicap people be careful of the cobble stone flooring and restrooms- other than that when I went - I'd recommend checking it out.

I’m actually astonished at how well this sandwich was priced. Exceptionally fantastic, to say the least. Music and food was on point, can’t wait to come back!

Really impressed with the friendly, atmospheric, taste explosion and oversize portions of the meal we enjoyed here. We sat on beach chairs in the sand listening to the birds while we waited for our family to gather. The food is made to WOW and it does. Gotta go there!!!

I always enjoy my meal when I go to Farmer and the Chickpea...but I will say, my family and I ate in there a month ago and it was so dirty in the seating area. So we cleaned our own table. I've tried to order over the phone, but no one EVER picks up..EVER!!! I love the idea of farmer and the chickpea..but it always seems to disorganized or they try way too many different ideas at once. Like one day they decided to put in a back out back and do a summer theme, then they move quickly onto working on something else. Please focus on one thing at a time.

We only ordered takeout, but this has been the best damn fresh food I have eaten in a long time. Portions are huge and the food is delicious. It fed us lunch the next day by putting everything into the oven at 400 degrees along with the potato wedges! Thank you so much for delivering a high-quality product at a fair price during this economy. Can’t wait to visit in person!

WHEN: saturday 5/14/22 @ 1pm PARKING: they have their own parking lot with plenty of spaces What an awesome place! This was the second restaurant we tried in Quakertown and it was great. The restaurant is located in this barn like building with an interesting sand pit outside. When you walk in your met with a deli case of pre-made foods like salad, quiche, vegetable lasagna, cookies, etc (all homemade). The whole place is very open with a full view of the kitchen and a small little market area where they sell artisanal pantry items. The vibe of the place was spot on for the "farmer" theme. Now onto the food... they serve traditional american foods, mainly premade items. We asked the worker what was most popular and they said the vegetable lasagna and chicken pot pie. The worker who took our order was kind but the food took a really long time to come out. What we got: 1. Egg Frittata ($10) - i can't remember what this dish tasted like. it was good though 2. Small Chicken Pot Pie ($10) - homemade crust, delicious! 3. Vegetable Lasagna ($15) - lasagna served without pasta. they use thin slices of potato and lots of thin cut veggies. such a good dish 4. Small Chickpea Kale salad ($12) - delish!!! light and citrussy with a unique toasted chickpea chip that I've never seen before. the kale was cut into good sized pieces and fresh 5. Brunch Board ($30) - MASSIVE. the description of this board on their menu says it serves 2 people but that's a damn lie (can easily serve 4). it comes with everything and is a great option for brunch parties. my fav was the french toast When I say these portions are huge I mean they are HUGE. Coming from California, we were all expecting some decently sized meals but with everything we ordered we could have easily served 15 people. This place is a hit. I love the vibe, the food, the price, the portions, etc. A great place for large groups, especially for Sunday brunch. The star of quakertown!
