Britain Hill Venue & Vineyard

We visit wineries and tasting rooms frequently and have a good barometer for judging vineyards, so we can confidently say Britain Hill sets the bar very high.

First and foremost, this is the most dog friendly location that we've ever been to; they literally support pet adoption as a part of their business. Since we regularly travel with our dog this was a huge bonus for us.

They have something for everyone here, wine, beer, slushies, etc...The place is adorned with all sorts of local craft items and snacks Who doesn't like snacks?

We will definitely be headed back to Britain Hill the next time we are in the area. Do yourself a favor and check this place if you are nearby.

As wedding photographers, we've worked at many venues. Debbie and her team at Britain Hill Venue and Vineyard were top notch. From the wonderful views for bridal portraits, to the exceptional service. Oh, and we can't forget the wine. They have wine slushies on tap. We also purchased a few bottles of wine to take home with us and they are amazing. All the guests were pleased with the hospitality at Britain Hill Venue + Vineyard. Our couple planned for a sparkler exit, and the owner Debbie facilities the whole thing. I really cannot give enough stars for our experience with this wonderful venue. You will not be disappointed. My husband and I will definitely be back for more wine and for the company.

Great little wine tasting room, staff and selections!

After our recent wedding in beautiful Ireland, we were looking for the perfect stateside venue to celebrate with friends and family, and Britain Hill Winery exceeded every single expectation. It was, quite simply, the most perfect setting for our reception.

The dedication of the entire Britain Hill team was evident from our very first contact. We must give a special, heartfelt shout-out to Debbie. Her unwavering support, meticulous attention to detail, incredible kindness, and endless patience throughout the planning process were truly invaluable. Navigating details from afar could have been stressful, but Debbie made it seamless and enjoyable, anticipating our needs and ensuring every element was perfect.

The wine selection is nothing short of stunning! Britain Hill offers a fantastic variety that genuinely appeases the palate of both dry and sweet drinkers, across both red and white wines. Our guests, a diverse group of wine lovers, were all incredibly impressed by the quality and breadth of options available.

And the venue itself? Absolutely breathtaking. Its rustic charm is beautifully counterbalanced with an incredible attention to detail, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and elegant – truly perfect for a joyous celebration. Every corner felt thoughtfully designed, contributing to a truly great event.

Our bartending staff, led by Meg, were impeccable customer servants. They weren't just serving; they were engaging with our guests, offering recommendations, and genuinely making sure everyone fully appreciated the wide variety of exceptional wines the vineyard creates. Their friendly and professional demeanor added so much to the evening.

All in all, our experience at Britain Hill Winery was simply great. Thank you, Britain Hill, for providing such a spectacular setting and for your entire team's dedication to making our wedding reception so incredibly special! We can't recommend you highly enough.

Such a lovely place. Beautiful landscaping. We just went there for a walk-in visit. The owner was such a good help. Taught us about the brew, the process of how it all functions, the difference between different wines in terms of flavours and aroma and how they are achieved. I've had wine before but this was my first proper wine tasting, and I'm glad it was a Britain Hill.

I also hear it is a great venue for hosting weddings and parties and business events. Pretty sure they are excellent hosts.

We had our 50th wedding anniversary party at the venue and everything was perfect. We can not begin to thank Debbie and her staff enough for taking such good care of us. We had a last minute problem but Debbie saved the day!!!! We would definitely recommend Britain Hill to anyone considering a venue site. Easy to work with, very accommodating and was helpful with suggestions. Would definitely return for any future events.

Everywhere you turn, you' ll be pleased with this venue and winery.. The atmosphere, the stunning landscaping, the accommodating barn and reception/event area and the wine tasting bar area- It's all so natural and pleasant.. Whether you're planning your own event or just stopping in, you will be expertly attended to. Britain Hill is highly recommended

I don’t have the words to express my gratitude for the entire Britain Hill team, but especially the owner Debbie. It is an absolutely stunning venue, but she really makes it what it is. Debbie cared about every aspect of our wedding and making sure it all went smoothly from the day we booked, through to the wedding day, and even after. She cares about your event like it was her own and treats it as such. The entire staff made us feel right at home. The venue itself, absolutely gorgeous. Stunning views and so much property for all the photos. And the wine, oh my, they’re all so good one of the hardest parts was choosing which ones to serve! We look forward to going back and visiting often!

My daughter chose Britain Hill for the location of her wedding! Really can not say enough good things about Debbie, the venue and her staff!!! Gorgeous venue with stunning landscaping-a truly beautiful setting for a wedding! Debbie and her staff were professional, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and especially the day of the wedding. They made everything run smoothly, making the whole experience stress-free. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue or caring team! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful venue

First time visitors! We had such a nice day when we visited. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday. A wedding party was arriving when we were heading out. Gorgeous views and great wine!

While driving up to see Sight & Sound's production of Daniel, the Home Boss (wife) & I stopped at Britain Hill for some wine tasting. The number of wines to choose from was almost overwhelming. We had almost as much fun haggling over which wines to try as tasting them. In the end being a warm day, we each chose 4 different sweeter (beach) wines. The winery has several options on where to go to enjoy your wine; inside, outside on a covered deck, or up on a hill with Adirondack chairs & picnic tables. We chose the deck. Turned out to be a wonderful afternoon. So much so, we drove away with a bottle of the Wild Bear...ies and Spiced Apple.
Next day, we came back and each got a glass of wine, grabbed a couple of Adirondack chairs, lit a cigar, and since not many folks there, practiced our dancing for upcoming son's wedding. Then drove away with another bottle of the Spiced Apple.
The winery staff were very kind, down to earth, and very patient. All in all, wonderful winery, many delicious wines to choose from, and great winery staff!
Next time we're in the Lancaster area, will be sure to drop by.
