Racist tendencies........I was told by a bartender upstairs that because one of the guests in my party was 20, I could not purchase a drink for myself, literally for my own self; bearing in mind I’m a grown 30 year old man……..….not even 5 minutes later I watched as a white male walked up to the bar with his 7-9 year old son and was sold alcohol immediately. The bartender ensured to notify the other bartenders that I was not to be served, yet I watched as the white gentleman enjoyed numerous drinks undisturbed with his young son walking behind him. There’s a word for this……..

Music was very loud, the staff is great, friendly and helpful. The food...well we were a party of 5, food rolled out intetmitten, 1 order was lost and staff was checking 3 times on an order of 6 wings, the check came before the wings.....took almost 1h for the wings to come out, the order was changed from dine in to take out...finally the wings arrived, not as hot, parrots have bigger wings, for the price...a joke never order wings there again. Burger where ok, trying to make them special/ different, not working, fries as cold as my beer...It was my understanding, that they are in progress to change owners.....will have to wait how it works out...feel sorry for the great wait staff..hope they hang in there and it gets better

Dined here yesterday during Pumkin palooza we had Caroline as our server she was absolutely fantastic. Drinks and Food were served in a timely manner and delicious! You could tell they must have been short staffed and she was covering most of the dining room tables if not all of them. She made sure to stop at our table during her rounds to just make sure we were still doing okay and needed nothing else! As she said she didn’t want us to think she was ignoring us but being in the restaurant industry myself I knew she was very busy with all the tables. I commend her for her fantastic service, great personality and smile during the busy dinner rush of the night! Thanks Caroline!

Make sure you ask about this dress code that magically exist now… was denied entrance for street wear joggers
We arrived at 6:15pm and were seated in the back. The host checked if someone greeted us yet at 6:35pm and we said no. Around 6:40pm the waitress claimed to not know that she had our table and took our order, which we were ready to place ASAP due to the amount of time sitting and waiting. She brought the drinks out within a reasonable amount of time; yet came back to ask us if we were ready to order when we had already ordered our food...she probably forgot to enter the order.
To make things worse, a family of 10+ who arrived at least 10 minutes after us received their meals before we got anything. I flagged down a staff member as they were heading to the kitchen to let them know that we still hadn’t received even one wrap, while the large group had their entire meal. Meanwhile, a group of four seated shortly after us ended up leaving after 20-30 minutes because no one had even greeted them.
Eventually, a woman came over—without introducing herself—after I had spoken to a man about the delay. He had offered me a drink on him, so I assumed the drink would be complimentary. The woman brought it over, but it turns out I was charged for it, though my friend’s wrap was comped. If I had known I’d be paying for the drink, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Overall, the service was terrible, and this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The wrap took one full hour to come out.... while the family of 10+ seated after us received their entire order, just to reiterate that.

I’ve been here 3 times in the last 90 days. I used to love the place and the food is even better than it was in the past, but dang! Sitting at the bar, I feel like I’m invisible! Came in for brunch, had a Bloody Mary (a bit disappointing), and couldn’t get either bartender to take my food order. Finished my drink and left. Oh well, plenty of other options for food and drinks in the area

The Spruce is a go to for my wife and I. The Waygu burgers are the best. I had the El Cubano (Cuban) this past weekend and it was perfect! It had a hint of “smokiness” that added to the sandwich. Staff and service is always top notch! The Spruce also has a fantastic beer menu! The selection is great, something for every type of beer enthusiast. Even sours on tap, which is rare.
