We're always looking for new places with live music. Bertie's is a little off the beaten path, but I consider that a good thing. At 6:30 on a Saturday night, the place was jam-packed, but we had made a reservation. So we had a table near the music on the deck. It was a beautiful day, but the night air was getting chilly. They rolled down the awnings for the deck, and we were all good.
We had a new server. It was her third night, and she was busy. Even so, she was great. She got our drinks and food quickly, checked back regularly, and was very nice. My drink was never empty for long.
The food was good. I had a bowl of super chili and garlic/parm wings. There were some miscues with the kitchen (they forgot the "super" part of my chili, mostly missed the wings with the sauce, and forgot my friend's salad dressing) but these were all fixed within minutes. No big deal. The music was great too, Johnny Gallagher has some new fans.
Parking: There was plenty of parking, but it seems to get a bit tight when they're really busy. We ended up parking in the grass to the left of the deck, along with a lot of other people.

We had a really nice time here. Food was good. Nothing crazy. The bartender/waitress was very good and had a great personality! The atmosphere was great too! Lots of area for people to sit and eat and watch one of the many TVs. Overall a great place to go to!

When we arrived at around 7:00 pm for a late dinner (three people), there was a girl singing and playing a guitar. Since it was nice outside, we wanted to eat outdoors. There were tables available on the deck, but they were being held by reservations. The hostess sat us at the tables by the parking lot. The table she sat us at had four dirty ashtrays and the table was covered in ashes. We asked for another table since I refused to eat at a dirty table that smelled like cigerettes. She then sat us inside by the bathroom. We were the only people in the dining area and we were basically forgotten. My father-in-law ordered a bowl of clam chowder and onion rings as his meal. They brought his chowder as an appetizer. I ordered a sandwich and an order of onion rings. When my meal arrived, I had four onion rings on my plate. We have eaten at this restaurant many times with no problems. This was the worse service and experience. My husband we won't be coming back here for a while!

Great experience and my cover band was thankful for them having us. Excellent chicken fingers and fries too. Real beautiful venue with a great view outside. Loved this gig.

Bartenders ignored us. Food didn't come out right. Also, texting while serving is not acceptable. I believe her name is Jen and whoever the other girl was that was working with her were horrible.
