I ate here once before a few months ago and everything seemed fine but it was not so fine this past weekend.
They took quite a while to seat us. And forever to come back and take our order. They gave us a pitcher of water with no cups to pour it in. They forgot we ordered rice until another server saw us and asked us about it like 30 minutes later. Then when I got the bowl of rice a cockroach šŖ³ came crawling out of it and I was terrified and absolutely baffled. My boyfriend killed thank goodness!!! It started crawling towards our other food š¤®We like the staff know and all they did was just take the rice bowl back and left. I canāt believe they didnāt do anything more than that.
They also have a self serving bar for hot pot and I saw that the tteokbokki was sitting in the refrigerator, super mouldy. How are they not aware. I swear I even saw staff look at the stuff in the refrigerator and they did nothing about it. Very concerning. Worse Korean barbecue experience Iāve ever had. Can say we wonāt be back. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Iāve eaten here multiple times, and itās been decent. HOWEVER, last weekend was one of the worst experiences Iāve had.
My girlfriend and I went to tryout their new hotpot + usual KBBQ. The service was mid/sub-par; which was surprising since the place is now mostly self-service. Had to wait awhile to get cups for water & tongs to cook meat. (Shoutout to the waiter that asked if we needed anything)
The WORST part was when we ordered some rice. š (The rice comes in these metal bowls with a lid on them) My girlfriendās bowl when she opened it a COCKROACH šŖ³ came out of it. I immediately killed it with a napkin, but I really wish I took a picture of it. But we were in shock & disposed of it without thinking.
Also, when I was grabbing ingredients for our hotpot. I noticed that the tteokbokki (Korean rice cakes) had MOLD on a decent amount of them. This made me wonder how often they check/quality control. If the tteobokki is moldy - what is to say other ingredients like the meat isnāt bad. šØ
Like I said before, I regret not taking pictures. Now that itās been a few days & fully reflected. Believe my post or not, but that was my girlfriend & Iās experience. Which makes me sad since I was so hyped that a KBBQ place was near my area.
Overall, wonāt be coming here again because of this.

This was my first experience at a Korean BBQ + Thai restaurant & Hot pot establishment and to me it was a great experience! š°š·ā¤ļø Iām so glad in general that thereās finally a Korean BBQ restaurant that is fairly close to go to. š any nearest one would be in Philadelphia which is one hour too long.
I didnāt choose to order BBQ this time because we went at a bad time before lunch but I chose to eat Bulgogi for the first time and it was so tasty with all the textures and flavors! I also got Korean signature chicken and that was yummy!! š
The boba milk tea š§ was fresh and refreshing drink for the meal.
Iām definitely trying the BBQ next time around.
The atmosphere is so chill to hang with a friend or a with a group to chit chat and have a nice time eating. Staff are friendly and attentive.
I highly recommend giving this place a try! š

Oh my gosh this place is amazing. I'm not from Pennsylvania and have had authentic Korean food and this place is it! There's not a lot of ethnic food around here, but I am glad to have found this place that reminds me of home. Clean and awesome service.

I wasnāt expecting Bulgogi to be a place that worked so well for someone who doesnāt eat meat, but wow their Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were both amazing and my fav in the area! Get the thai hot!

Iām glad thereās a KBBQ spot in Berks. However, there is a lot of room for improvement.
The service was fine and food was ok I guess, but what is going on with the cold bar? The food is in a produce fridge and commercial beverage fridge. Please invest in a cold bar to make the food look more appetizing. I saw this and wanted to walk out. You had sauces in two places, why? Consolidate them to keep things simple. Staff should also at least mix up the meats or rotate them so it doesnāt look like itās been sitting there. The large self-serve island in the middle felt oddly placed. It says, āhereās everything you need, so we donāt have to do any work.ā I get that itās there for convenience, but it comes off as lazy. A more thoughtful layout could make the overall experience better. Put it in a less prominent area or with the rest of the self-serve stuff so it feels cohesive.
Three of us ordered the C package ($37 pp) and left feeling underwhelmed. We lost our appetites and couldnāt finish, only to be charged for our small box of leftovers.
Also, our meats took so long to sear, and we noticed the grill automatically lowers its temperature. The exhaust fans on the table only blow the air towards the wall, so you still smell like grilled meat.
I genuinely want this place to work out and I believe it can with some adjustments.
Wanted to add: We did not try the a la carte menu or hot pot, so I canāt speak on those, but the KBBQ part could use some work.

I had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and well-seasoned. We opted for the buffet-style package, and it turned out wonderfully. Boby, our server, was incredibly nice and helpful. We tried five different meats and enjoyed every one of them. The buffet appetizers and sauces were fantastic, though it would be great to have teriyaki sauce available if possible.

The restaurant is very small and they seem a bit under staffed. We waited a while to put in drink orders. No one explained the ordering process to us. The food bar presentation could use a little work. However, the staff is very nice and the food tastes good. I wouldn't get the gyoza again, and I've had better kimchi. My favorite was the spicy pork belly and bulgogi. Kpot is still the place to beat in my opinion.
