I bought a Black Forest cake from Dutch Maid Bakery in Reading, Pa. And it was terrible it was made with a German chocolate cake and there were no cherries or whipped frosting in between layers. I paid 13.00 for half a cake and I was very disappointed, this is the second time I bought a cake from them that I was disappointed in.

Very nice market with lots of options. The baked goods are fresh, delicious and, in most circumstances, warm. We stopped by for the first time this past weekend and expect to regularly swing by this place. Great customer service too.

Just arrived from New Jersey and was helped by a friendly, positive young man named Alberto. Even though it was my first time at the stand, he handled everything like a pro and made me feel welcome! The staff at Dutch Maid Bakery were incredibly warm and inviting. Great experience all around!

I wanted give Dutch-Maid a bad review because they messed up my order and gave me bad information about when I could pick-up. However, the cake was so good—it doesn’t matter. That cake was delicious and beautiful. They were really apologetic about the mix-up and they made an effort to fix the mistake. I’d get another cake here for sure.

Traditionally delicious baked goods. Unfortunately they get no higher than a four star rating, since they've recently raised their credit card minimum from a user friendly $5.00 to $10.00. May not sound like alot, but it is when you're purchasing for one or are looking for a small "treat" when you're watching calories.
