Went with my son and his girlfriend. My son ordered the $11 special (pork, rice, fries and a soda). His girlfriend and I got the Cuban sandwich. We all enjoyed our food. The Cuban sandwiches took awhile but the girl came over to our table and apologized because other sandwiches were being made and only a couple fit on the press at 1 time. We were not in a hurry but it was nice she explained.

Now I've been there twice. The first time the lady wasn't very patient and was almost rushing me (I was ordering for about 6 people) the second time I had 7 orders and the lady was super nice and helpful. It all depends on who you get.
The atmosphere feels like you're in a diner. Which I like.

I have visited this place multiple times and have sampled a wide variety of their dishes. Every item I've tried has exceeded my expectations; the food is not only delicious but also captures the authentic flavors of the Caribbean islands. I must emphasize that their Cuban sandwich is unparalleled in Reading, PA, and quite possibly in the entire state. The staff members are consistently warm and service-oriented, creating a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Additionally, the restroom, dining area, and parking lot are all well-maintained and spotless.
Parking: The parking lot has space to maneuver and the spaces have room enough for larger vehicles.
Kid-friendliness: It is a cozy and family-focused restaurant, kids are welcome.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp going into the restaurant and the door is big enough to fit a wheelchair or a trolley.

This is the 3rd time I go to this restaurant and all 3 times I was charged 3 separate prices. Each time getting more expensive. My first time it started at $15 and ending my 3rd time with $20. I said why does the price keep changing and got no response aside from well maybe you didn’t have this on your order or that on your order. I’m not an idiot I told her. The exact same order each time nothing different. The only difference was that the second time I didn’t get the free fries that came with the meal because they must’ve “forgot”. They have zero service skills and could care less about stealing your money. So before I left I said you need to have a menu with prices on them so you can’t keep changing them whenever you want.
