Rice didnt taste fresh reheated by far however the staff very kind and attentive. The beans were delicious. The carne guisada was very good. They have Malta Goya very cold. A group of men came in to get take out and disrupted the cool quiet atmosphere but once they left it was good again.

Went with my son and his girlfriend. My son ordered the $11 special (pork, rice, fries and a soda). His girlfriend and I got the Cuban sandwich. We all enjoyed our food. The Cuban sandwiches took awhile but the girl came over to our table and apologized because other sandwiches were being made and only a couple fit on the press at 1 time. We were not in a hurry but it was nice she explained.

Now I've been there twice. The first time the lady wasn't very patient and was almost rushing me (I was ordering for about 6 people) the second time I had 7 orders and the lady was super nice and helpful. It all depends on who you get.

I must emphasize that their Cuban sandwich is unparalleled in Reading, PA, and quite possibly in the entire state. The staff members are consistently warm and service-oriented, creating a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Additionally, the restroom, dining area, and parking lot are all well-maintained and spotless.
Parking: The parking lot has space to maneuver and the spaces have room enough for larger vehicles.
Kid-friendliness: It is a cozy and family-focused restaurant, kids are welcome.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp going into the restaurant and the door is big enough to fit a wheelchair or a trolley.
