I order pollo guisado, white rice, maduros, morir soñando and red beans The stew chicken was horrible it was not cook the dominican style the color too much water and the beans was like sweet. But the rest was fine love the morir soñando.

I love everything about this place. I first ordered them when I worked at the Imax by ordering using Grubhub. I got this plantain sandwich and another sandwich. Then I tried some other things after wards as I casually dropped by in the restaurant almost every month after work. Their food is very good, I highly recommend it! A lot of the food places here in Reading are amazing, there is no underestimating the Latin culture of their cooking. They do very well with their jobs. The restaurant across the street from El Tronco is also pretty good and on the same street (Franklin & 4th) 2 blocks down, which is the Juice Bar or La Chimi or something like that, they are pretty great to! And now I am ordering by DoorDash as of making this review!

Everything has changed, it's not like when they opened :--( the roast chicken is drier, the rice is different, strange, the first to open this business, the girls are excellent and good workers, humble and respectful, but the quality has gone down, this was my #1 since I was pregnant 2 years ago

We get our Pastelios here when need large amount. They are always accommodating. Prices are good. We eat her or take home, been going here for about 7 yrs now. Never any problems. We don't live in the city but it's worth the trip!!
Parking: Very small parking lot, so if it's busy you have to park on street

We walked in and then back out. The parking lot was full of trash and the restaurant had the front door wide open and flies all over the place. Outside seating in right next to the trash. No way !
The place is a tremendous mousetrap. The food is overheated and greasy. But I will never return to that mousetrap. And on top of that, it's very expensive. From 1 to 5, I gave them 0. Left wing.
