The service, food, and atmosphere were wonderful. Wish this diner was closer to my house.

My husband stopped in breakfast today 4/29/24, and while the food and service were good, I was disappointed when we paid at the counter near the door. The man there was very engrossed in his computer, didn’t ask us how our meal was and barely acknowledged us. Customer care and concern should be paramount in any business. Exeter Diner needs to work harder in this area as it left a bad taste in our mouths despite the good food.

Very very disappointed!!! Went there last night and got the salad bar and there were no rolls !!! The soup looked disgusting and it wasn’t hot! Got one plate of salad and got charged for all you can eat! On top of it all it was my husbands birthday and asked if they did anything for birthdays and was told no. Don’t you think that would be a good idea to do for customers??? After all you do have a good business and your prices are a little higher than some other businesses! Went there about three weeks ago and got two salad bars a piece of chicken and two drinks and it cost us $40!!!! Crazy!!!!!! It was just me last night for salad and two drinks and it was $20!!!!! Again Crazy!!!!

Not the old Exeter Family Restaurant anymore. It’s become a regular roadside restaurant like no different from any others. The freshly baked bread on the salad bar is long gone. The ribeye steak is very chewy. The recipes are totally changed to bad. Sorry, Exeter Family.

The waiters here treat you and give you better service than fancy Restaurants do. Never had to ask for a refill. ??

I would give more stars if I could. Everything about this place is fantastic. The bacon was so good I swear I heard a chorus of angels. We stopped for breakfast on Easter Sunday, and I couldn’t possibly imagine anything pre delicious. It has all the ambience of the 80s, and a family environment with great service. Everything was delicious and made with love.
