I was shocked when I bit into the cheesesteak it was so juicy Iāve nvr had one like this it has a sauce that is out of this world shoot pool drink frozen margaritas and have a great time here great service feels like home I loved this place ???

Every bite taste freshly madeā¦If youāre old like me, at 10:00 on a Saturday night in downtown Reading, walking into any bar on Penn Street might be associated with a certain stigma. One that might walk the lines of dark, dirty, and maybe even scary or just ā not for you. But during a recent random visit to Florinoās Pizza & Bar, I couldnāt find any of that being any further then the truth.Everything about this place has been hit with a sense of love that can only come from pride in ownership. Owned and operated by Florin and his wife, Angie, one can only imagine the amazing heights their personal relationship has achieved if it mirrors anything like what theyāve done with the place and the food here ā as āloveā is clearly at its center.I was encouraged to try the cheesesteak which in my opinion is easily the best cheesesteak Iāve had ever. The bread is made fresh Iām told and you can taste it in every mouthwatering bite. The crisp flakey crunch of the crust is light and the dough just melts in your mouth. The meat is hardy and not overly greasy, the sauce in clever blended in with the steak and the cheese and when you marry all of that with the fried onions and extras youāre left with something you just know you donāt have time to replicate in your home kitchen.Florin is the kind of guy that let me taste of a few of the wings as well. Something he clearly canāt do for every patron but let me just say they are worth it as well. Perfectly seasoned, a nice bite to them, and delicious through and through.The bar itself is clean, surprisingly clean and updated. The sandy browns and rustic colors scream old Italy to me and invite you to venture back deep into the bar where things open up to a dance area complete with Titan Tron lighting, a sound system your smartphone can sync into, and every bars must have ā a very nice pool table.I highly recommend everyone making Florinoās theyāre new hang out spot. But if you donāt, I wouldnāt be mad at all ā as that will be just more elbow room for me!

Don't go to these bar if your not friends with the bar tender after 3pm sees too busy talking to her friends by the way let them do watever they want been here 40 mins can't get a beer because she's too busy talking too her friends and bullshitin

Awesome place. It's kind of for everyone. If you're loud it's for you if you like to go and sit and just have a beer and enjoy some quiet it can be for you. The owner flo, is one of the nicest men I've ever met. He's very genuine, he treats his staff well, which in turn means his staff is very pleasant. I go in there with my service dog to get takeout sometimes, and I've never had a bad experience.
