Updated: It's got to be 10 years plus since I've been here and the cheesesteaks with the house sauce are still amazing. This is the best steak sandwich sauce I've ever had.

Whenever I go here I get the garden salad. The salads are huge and the garden salad has a lot of different veggies in it. The waitress was such a nice lady they all are. They gave me a card..... buy a certain amount of sandwiches get one free. I normally do not eat many sandwiches and they will not credit me when I go there for my salads. That's my only issue. It's also like walking into memory lane regarding the fairgrounds race track which I absolutely loved. I will continue to go there. I wish they were open more. But it is what it is.

Don’t sleep on this gem. Better than other sandwich shops. They keep it clean and those older women know how to cook. Take me back in the day when a sub was a sub. Check it out you won’t be disappointed.

More like Jimblows, they accused me of having a fake ID because I look younger than 24 and the protective laminate over the ID was bubbling which is the same ID i’ve given to police and other bars with no issue. So they wouldn’t serve me or my friend. Go somewhere they don’t discriminate or disrespect you. All that’s needed to be done here is to scan the ID, fake ID’s cannot be scanned.P.S. They also took about 15min to look at the id’s and wasted our time, also the waiter told me she was caught for serving alcohol to minors before like that was my fault or problem enjoy losing business over not scanning an ID.

This is a cool little 50's diner style place. From the outside, I wasn't even going to try it. But the inside is awesome. They have lots of photos on the walls of the old Reading fairgrounds. It's got more of a sub shop menu. The atmosphere was a ton of fun.

First time and last time here. Paid 9.50 for a cheesesteak that had maybe 2 and a half ounces of meat. 6 bucks for small fries. You can buy a bag of potatoes for less than that and get 8 times more fries. Asked for 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream with pineapple topping....got chocolate syrup instead of pineapple. What a waste of money.
