I came to check it out for myself. Reviews is always not enough for me to not check it out. For starters. They offer outdoor seating which is nice. I noticed 2 tables inside to dine in. But let's talk about the food!!!! Omg!!!! Can I rate them a 10?? I have been coming here for dinner every night. The food is amazing. I have yet to have an issue with the staff. My whole diet went out the window. As for the negative reviews, yall trippin!! Come check it out, you won't regret it.

Wanted the yellow rice. The girl told me 5min. I waiting for 20-25min. The rice wasn't done. I had to grab different rice because it was taking long. 35min later finally got me food. The lady was like we are not going charger you for the food because you wait long. Still got charge. The food is mediocre. Never again..

Only problem i had was one lady there was pretty rude we didn't speak spanish so we had to ask for someone else but she was definitely rude as hell for someone who's first time customers , she definitely don't need to be in the front serving. store looked nice and cute. food was great! would really recommend. the oxtails was so flavorful and well seasoned. they gave us a good enough size for $15 but it had to be separate you can't get it with any side or anything but it was so good and juicy i don't even mind. the stew chicken and rice and peas was so good too. i also had chicharrones it was good and crispy and it had some good amount of meat too. because i've gotten them somewhere else where it was just fat but not this one it was nice and meat. and everything was a great portion size as wel

(Translated by Google) Not a fan of the service but the food is good. Pros and cons butWith an improvement of the service the place was better. The food tastes good. The baked chickens are sometimes past cooking, the poor wings are burnt and/or sometimes pale. Pork crackling doesn't always look appetizing. Sometimes it seems from the previous fia since it is dry. When serving the green guineas it would be good if they drain better the container where they are served. Since when eating it is unpleasant to see the cooking water at the bottom of the plate.(Original)Not a fan of the service but the food is good.

A friend of mine brought me here for lunch one day. I pass by this place many times always wondered what the foods like. It is your typical downtown Reading Pennsylvania Latino food fare. Let me first say I grew up in Miami Florida I ate Mexican food, Cuban food, Colombian food, El Salvador food and I even have gone to a Brazilian barbecue restaurant in Saugus Massachusetts. I ate quite a bit of Latino food. The food here was ok...A bit bland for me...which was unusual for Spanish food...bring salt & pepper..

A long time favorite of mine! My go to order is Steak & Onions with Rice and Beans and a side of Plantains. The food never disappoints - it is always delicious and the portion sizes are huge. Remember to ask for their sauce when ordering Plantains!

They don't speak English here but to me that makes it more authentic. This Dominican cuisine is nothing like I'm used to and I have fallen in love with it. Right down the street from Reading Area Community College, I found this gem during the pandemic when I was looking around for some local restaurants to grab a quick lunch from. Their BBQ chicken and rice is a great combo, they don't skimp out either. I guarantee if you grab a meal from here you won't leave hungry. I appreciate the hoops they have jumped through in order to remain open during this time and they deserve support for serving the community.

food is amazing and I always crave it every once in a while. i got white rice with beans and steak. there's something about their beans and just makes it the best over their plain white rice with their steak sauce. only downside is that food is a little salty. also got an order of plantains and threw it in the air fryer again when I got home and super crispy but still fluffy inside. also remember to ask for their special ketchup mayo!!

Food is not bad. Way too much rice, not enough beans. Maduros not sweet. Meat is meh. Do not order their take out. Took over an hour and they way they packaged the food is disappointing
