I had their cod fish with freshly boiled yucca and it was excellent. Their pork belly and roasted pork is also very good. They also have a fritter similar to the shell of a pastelillo but open. These are sold quickly. The only things I disliked was their rice and fried pork meat. Their rice lacks oil which makes it puffy. Their fried pork and other meats aside from their pork belly and roasted pork are somewhat salty. However, I recommend it especially when you don't have time to cook.

It started by me ordering a “Chimi”. When I ordered the chimi the person taking my order said “de puerco” I was a little frazzled as I have never been asked that before. I should have asked her to explain herself. However traveling to Santo Domingo for years I thought there was only one type of Chimi. It’s like a burger but a million times better. Now I do have to say if you want to eat an awesome sandwich de pernil which is what I ended up with, it was delicious. Not A CHIMI which is what I had a craving for and went to where I thought I would have the best experience NOT a CHIMI.

The food is great, chimi sandwiches are the best in Reading. The only down fall is the portion ratios. While other restaurants around the area serve you equal portions of sides to meat, they weigh the meat. The meat portions are tooooo small. That's my only complaint.

Went Here Once Or Twice ! I Didn't Like The Fact That It Looks Like A School Cafeteria And It Gets So Packed Because It's A Small Place But The Food Is Good 👍 Also Need Better Parking Because Double Parking Outside Is Messy...
