Matts is a Sandwich shop straight out of my childhood; literally.
The food has always been decent and you get a good amount for your money. I've moved around the country and when I head back east to visit, there are a few places I'll always try to stop by - Matt's is one of them.
Counter girl was friendly and fast. The food taste wasn't what I expected from it's looks. Looked delicious but was not. It wasn't the girls fault. The product and how it's made is the culprit. The place is dim and yellowish. Not stay and eat friendly for a family. Not sure what happened from when I lived there over 10 years ago...but needs improvement.
I got a large Cheese Steak and my girlfriend got a California Chicken Cheese Steak...both were awesome. Great flavor, perfectly spiced and hot off the grill. Nice atmosphere, very friendly service.
