I have tasted plenty of sandwiches especially the cheesesteak sandwich. Around Berks. I can tell you that there is plenty of other sandwiches shops I would goto to get another one. The taste of the cheesesteak is not one to ask for again. I thought it was me but I had two other people who ate this sandwich with me say the samething. If I am going to spend anything over 60 dollars it won't be here. Goto mamas, v and s, or even a good corner store in Reading they can make you a better sandwich. This spot is not worth the 4.5 stars and I won't recommend.

Best sandwich anywhere on the East Coast Same great Quality like 30 years Ago that Local homemade Old school cheese steak cooked on the old school Flattop with the hard Italian roll onions and Sweet peppers cheeses Very high quality and The best Fry's in a paper bag All food is cooked right in front of you!

Mikes Sandwich shop in my opinion is the best Sandwich shop Reading has to offer. Their Steak sandwiches are Second to none. They offer a couple different styles of Steak Sandwiches. You owe it too yourself to try them. Start with the legend and yes they come with pickles. Enjoy !

GREAT Cheesesteaks and service. The food is always excellent. Have been going for years and never disappointed.
I don't get to Mike's often, but I'm always happy when I do. They have the selection I want in a sandwich shop plus a few surprises. The people are always cheerful and helpful. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant. It should definitely be on anyone's list of preferred sandwich shops in the area.
