Had a great experience at this little neighborhood bar. Super friendly staff and patrons. Live music on Saturdays and overt entertaining. Some local beers on tap and a knowledgeable bartender who will make anything you like. Bar was opened in the 30s and maintains the feel.
Mike's place is a MUST visit if you're in the area. We found it on a trip visiting from Australia and the place is so quaint, beautifully put together and still feels like it has a homely vibe. We absolutely loved it... And Pete is a legend ! Try his Boilo.

The bar was friendly and plenty of bar seating as well as tables.
The music was The Benjamin Vo Band featuring Lucian D'Stair who is a very talented keyboard player.
