Mimmo's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

This place is a great atmosphere, and I’ve been twice. The first time was about a year ago and my wife and I were happy with our meals. I remember the caprese being great.

Tonight, we went for our valentines dinner, and we were pretty disappointed. Our server (I believe his name was Corbin, he was new) was great. He was balancing a lot of tables but was doing well, polite, etc. We were happy with the weekly special that included a $10 bottle of wine with the order of two entrees.

The issue was the food. I know it’s a busy night and I know how it is to work in a kitchen where you are slammed start to finish, but this food tasted microwaved. I had the seafood risotto, which I would give a 6 out of 10. The scallops were good. My wife had the short rib ravioli however, and that was awful. Way undercooked, chewy ravioli (sign of frozen ravioli) and awful, flavorless sliced mushrooms. Short ribs are forgiving, so the meat wasn’t awful, but I feel very frustrated paying $35 for that.

Again, this was a very busy night, so take this all with a grain of salt, but I feel like Valentine’s is a day to step up.

We will come back, because we live nearby and it’s a nice bar, but I will not be back for anything more than drinks and a burger/dessert.

My wife and I were in charge of planning and hosting a retirement celebration for our pastor. The total number of guests was 77 people. We have never had a better private event experience at a restaurant than with Mimmos! It was incredible in every way. Mikey and his staff was so easy to work with and accommodating to ensure that we had the perfect event. The food was absolutely incredible and the room was beautiful. We were in the back room with the bar and the fireplace. They flexed with us as things changed without any difficulty at all. They even helped us clean up our own decorations that we brought as if it was no big deal. The feedback that we got from everyone who came to the celebration was incredible...they all loved it. If you need to have a private event with great food, atmosphere and service...this is your place.

As regulars I was shocked when the server said they don't serve angel hair anymore. Unheard of for a good Italian restauant!!

We were seated by the fireplace - perfect on such a cold night! Kim was the server we requested. She is always very accommodating and personable! She put a lit candle in our friend's birthday dessert! A great evening with friends and delicious food!

I ordered Door Dash which usually is not a positive experience for me. But, this time, Microsoft nailed it. I ordered Bruschetta and fries. It was the BEST bruschetta I have ever had. Fries were fresh and hot

My party of 3 had Christmas Eve dinner here. The ambiance was amazing. The decor was spot on. Our waiter, Vance gave us exceptional service and always had a friendly smile. The apps and entrees were delicious. Overall, we had an excellent dining experience and would highly recommend for any occasion.

Had the chicken parm with fresh pasta. The food was excellent! Well prepared.

So surprised to come across such a wonderful Italian restaurant that is authentic and tasty! From Caesar salad to a real slice of homemade lasagna and bruschetta to mouth watering cannolis, all was too notch. Nice venue to have a holiday party and family celebration. We will be back for that lemon drop shaker :)
