Great little out of the way place. We were brought here by friends and loved the place. Nice wait staff, Leonardo was great. Food was awesome, homemade pasta made fresh daily.If there is a complaint it's a little cramped, but other than that, well worth it!

Small venue with amazing food. Service was fantastic. After a full meal (prime rib for me and imperial crab dish for girlfriend) we saved just enough room to enjoy a few bites from peanut butter cheesecake. Highly recommend. Went on a Tuesday and it was crowded but we had reservations.

Probably the best Italian food in Berks county. This place has been open since 1936, it is so good that it needs no big advertising, people know this place because somebody else told them about it. Their small menu tells you that they have mastered every single plate, and the specials are always incredible; the wine selection is excellent as well. Classy, classic, nice, cozy, great service, great food, a very nice experience.

Everything about this place is old charm & class, and they should receive a Michelin star for excellence. An act far beyond their competition! Thank You.Parking: Hi Everybody! Sometimes it is difficult to find parking, especially if you attend during dinner, but - please be patient, and they are well worth it. Their food, from raspberry lamb chops, shrimp & scallops linguini, seafood lasagna, lobster ravioli, bruschetta & eggplant Parmesan are absolutely mouthwatering and delicious. My biggest dilemma, I have too many favorites to choose from, and I have great difficulty in making my decision and final choice. Thank You.

Nothing new here for those that have dined at Mom Chafee's. For those that haven't - small, intimate, feeling like your in somebody's home dining room kind of place. Food served fresh and hot. Nice accompanying salad with entrees. Their daily specials are always very nice and set apart from their menu, e.g. seafood lasagna, lamb Bolognese, crab cakes, etc.
