I went today and I will never go again. They are not Puerto Ricans making Puerto Rican food. It's called Old San Juan because they serve you old food and it taste nasty. They advertise natural juices but they are not. They are fountain drinks heavy with sugar and a nasty bad taste. I am surprised the health inspector has not gone up in there and close this place down. Also, I almost puke and ran to the restroom and the restroom has a heavy smell of mold which not good for anyone's health. They don't even deserve the one star I put.
I don't recommend anyone to eat at this place.

when to get a tembleque and it was old and moldy super nasty to try to sell this type of stuff
When i moved to town 20 years ago, the original owner used his wife's original Boriken recipes. Everything was delicious and authentic. Some years ago, He retired and sold the business and the food has never been the same. They've altered the recipes and dont seem to put in the care in preparation the original cooks did. I dont believe I ordered the cold piece of leather with a whole onion on top.

The food is stupendous. We order from work often. They do a wonderful job getting the order correct and delivered in a timely fashion. The price is phenomenal. 110.00 which included tax and tip. For 7 people. Your best bet is to go many times, just to try different things.

Not a typical Puerto Rican Restaurant. I did not like the food at all. No taste or quality. I will never go back in again. The prices were too high for the quality of the food. The day i went in the place was empty. No customers but I know why now. Worst Puerto Rican Restaurant in The city of Reading. All 00000 stars. Do not waste your time or money. Sorry for my review but it's what it is.
Does not taste like boricua food

The best in Reading
Very pleasant experience. Little English spoken, but servers are very kind and patient through the language barrier. Food was super tasty and served fresh. Flan is amazing!

We had a fantastic meal and will definitely be back. The pernil, pastelillos, bacalaitos, and arroz con gandules were all perfectly prepared and so tasty. The portions are generously sized and they offer dine in or take out options. The off street parking is an additional perk.
If you're looking for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, look no further.
I had catering done for my baby shower. The price was reasonable. Food was so good there were no left overs. I also come here for take out on occasion and the staff is really sweet and my food and desert option is always good.
