i use to buy here weekly an invite person but lately the prices are to high for the serving which is minimal im disapointed cause of this i have seen people go ther ask a price they say the pound price an some have left cause they dont understand about pounds like the management in the store should look into this right away i truely miss coming here so does my grandson an now we just cant even look at an empanadilla with out worrying if we can eat or not due to high prices we poor in this city not new yorkers

I bought empanadas and morcillas. Not a lot of meat on the empanadas, but the taste was ok. The morcillas we're dry and tasted horrible. I ended up throwing them in the trash.

Well, I expected that based on the name of the place it would be Puerto Rican food but my disappointment was total, it is not made by Caribbean hands, it has no taste from PR, the service is good but I give the food a C-.

The ladies serving are vey sweet & kind, prices are ok and the amount is reasonable. Unfortunately the food is not Puertorican. This was very disappointed since the name of the restaurant is Puertorican, the theme inside is Puertorican, the menu is Puertorican….but nothing taste or is made like Puertorican does. Not sure why would you promote a place saying is from a certain country and the owners don’t seem to care or hire someone from PR that actually knows how to cook authentic Puertorican food. It’s a shame because they have a good staff.

The food is always well cooked, but does not taste like authentic Puertorican seasoning. From the yellow rice to the fried chicken, beef stew, bistec in sauteed onions, pasteles are okay, fry foods are just okay.

It used to be a great restaurant, but the quality, amount in the plates, and taste has gone down hill over the last couple of years. I don't what happened.
