I want to like Red Robin. Took my family there today, and the food was good. That being said, there were some things which kind of rubbed me the wrong way...

-All of our drinks came in glasses which had quite a lot of redidue on them. I'm sure it was from whatever they use in the the dishwasher, so it's safe, but it's not a good look.
-I am aware that the garlic fries are going to be more than the regular fries, but when we ordered, the waitress simply asked what kind of fries we wanted, which makes it seem like perhaps they are included. This one is on me for not asking, but I still felt a little slighted.
-Getting an extra container of sauce was around 3$! And was not mentioned when we asked. I don't mind an up-charge, but that seems a bit excessive.
-Also, a refill of a 5 dollar drink was brought to the table that we did not order, and then we were made to feel like we should want it, rather than take it back.

All in all, it wasn't that bad, and I gladly paid the bill, but ended up feeling a bit nickeled and dimed when it came down to it. 😕

I would put 0 stars. We came in was looking forward to it i really wanted a burger. We'll we wanted 8 minutes t9 he sat. We were sat in the bar part with a 2 year old and 9 year old. We sat 10 minutes till our server came. She said she would be with us. Ok that's fine another 10 mins she came back and said she would us soon!! At this point I'm annoyed. 15 minutes later I look up she is talking t9 the bartender. Needless t9 say we left. I am a waitress and this is unacceptable

Food was not very tasty. The service was excellent. They did not have the brussel sprouts and the hamburger was not very good.

Very friendly wait staff. Food was good and service was fast. Floors was a bit dirty but it was later in the day so I guess it is expected.

Way over priced for what you get. $14 for 11 onion rings served in a stack. For $16 burgers, they were very greasy and a little under cooked. The freckled lemonade was good, but you had to drink 2 or 3 to make it worth $5.49.

My partner and I decided to stop by for a quick bite last night, 12/5/24 around 8:45-9pm, well aware they were closing soon. with this in mind, we made sure it would be a quick visit. As we were walking in, the hostess, who was on her phone, looked up at us walking through the first door, slammed her head in her hands and visibly looked upset. Upon getting up to the host stand, we were not greeted, so I greeted her asking how she was, to be ignored. She turned around, grabbed two menus without asking if it was just the two of us, and snapped “follow me.” Upon arriving to the table, she threw the menus on the table and walked away. Keep in mind, we were not the only people in the restaurant, and we did not cause a hassle or anything to deserve this behavior. I work in the restaurant industry myself, and I understand everyone has their days or just wants to go home, so I automatically assumed it was something bigger than us causing the rude behavior. That being said, we were left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome in an open restaurant, debating if we were too big of a burden and whether we should stay or go. I feel as though even on someone’s worst day, no one should treat other human beings in such a way and make them feel as we did. Our server was very awesome and everything came out quickly, and was delicious. We noticed that the same host was right behind people who were getting up to leave, and bussing the tables before they even fully got up. In the 30 minutes we were there, every time she walked into our section, we received a dirty look from her. I wasn’t going to leave this review but this visit just left a bad taste in my mouth.

I ate with a party of 7 and I am pretty sure everyone had an issue with something they got. I paid $10 for chips, salsa, and guac as an appetizer to get unsalted corn chips, crushed avocado, and wet tomato slush that might’ve had a tiddilywink of some spice in there. Then for my $20 burger, i ordered the scorpion burger (peppers, jalapeño coins, cheese, aioli, scorpion sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles) and got a burger with aioli, lettuce, pickles, and two yellow unripe tomatoes. When I brought up to the server that my burger came with nothing on it, they gave me a small cup of jalapeño coins, a cup of precooked peppers that were near freezing, and no sauce. Later brought it up with the manager that my burger came with nothing on it hoping to maybe get it comped or at least reduced in price for missing half the toppings, but no. She just affirmed that I didn’t get most of the stuff that was supposed to come in my burger and said she would let the kitchen know. At very least, my server was an honest to god sweetheart, but that’s about the only thing that this restaurant has going for it. Such a shame because I remember loving coming here 10 or so years ago as a kid so do not fall bait to nostalgia like myself. Unlikely we will return.

Be forewarned. Unlike every other Red Robin that I have been to, this one does not let you switch sides. For example, at other Red Robin Restaurants, you can start with free salad and switch to free fries. Here you cannot. The waitress said it says so on the menu, but it doesn’t. This is the only Red Robin that refuses to switch. Just makes them seem like they have a greedy attitude compared to other franchise locations.

Always like Red Robin (Update)

I still love Red Robin but something new frustrated me. You get charged for switching bottomless sides, like if you want salad after fries you get charged. It doesn't happen in other Red Robin's. Maybe it's a misunderstanding or a new policy that I'm unaware of.

I recommend Red Robin but definitely NOT this location. At most Red Robins, you can switch from one free side to another. This location doesn’t allow it. I suggest you visit a different location.

Kinda slow service for a mostly empty restaurant. I was told that they only had one person in the kitchen.

Nice meal, fair service. A generic, or chain, experience.
