-We came through on a Saturday afternoon, about 3pm. It was the opposite of crowded- we were immediately seated, though it was odd that with the abundance of empty tables, even by section, we were placed right next to other full tables, making it a little awkward. When I first went in, I used the restroom where 2 of the toilets were clogged. After I used the toilet, i washed my hands and saw someone walk by me without washing and when I followed them out, they walked straight into the kitchens. Yes-an employee. My husband and I wanted something that wasn't fried fast food, and this was definitely better than choosing a mcdonald's or burger king. We ordered the pork belly sticks and the shareable plate. Everything was good. I enjoyed it all without the extra sauces, and my husband sampled the sauces, determining his favorites per meat. I also had a well made margarita (no complaints there!). Our waitress was kind. Overall- i enjoyed it (other than the employee not seeming to wash up) but my husband thought it was just alright. He said he would try a sandwich here next time. We would return if it meant skipping fried fast food.

My boyfriend and I had our 2nd date here. 1st date was "Shooting Targets @ Gun Club"Guess he thought, Better make this Lady Happy, she can "Shoot" ? LOL. Anyway, ~GREAT PLACE~ for Lunch or Dinner.Parking: Just puck a spot. Unless your there for a late dinner. Then parking can get tricky & may have short line to wait for seating. We always make sure we are there by 4:00 pm."ENJOY"
Food was great and good service even though they were very crowds due to Jazz Festival week. Waitress as attentive and very pleasant. Will definitely come back when in the area.
I got the 3 meat combo with the BBQ chicken breast, sausage, and pulled pork. The pulled pork was extremely salty. I had to put BBQ sauce on it to cut down on the saltiness. Chicken was bland, sausage was good. My 2 sides were broccoli and mashed potatoes and gravy. The sides were fine. Ordered the brisket chili, which looked and tasted nothing like chili it looked like soup and had soup consistency. The chili was sent back. Overall service was OK. Certain things that we had asked for we never received, i.e., salad dressing and hot sauce. Ambiance was average.

Decided to give them another chance, and I was so disappointed. The waitress we had only showed when we first ordered, and then after we got our food. We put in an order for the cornbred, and we were done eating, and it still wasn't out. She came over to ask if we got the cornbread, and we said no, and she said oh it will be right "out. " We asked for the check and said it should have already been out. Without asking, she brought us the cornbread to go and still charged us. I don't even think it was a full portion of the cornbread. We spent a lot there, and the ribs were dry, and I got a very small portion on mashptatoes. It was not a good visit again and I am very disappointed.

On Sunday, April 7th, my mom and I went to Smokey Bones in Reading, PA for dinner, since we hadn't been there in a while. So my mom ordered the pulled pork platter with coleslaw and baked potato, while I ordered the brisket with fries and the famous fired corn, and the smoked bone-in wings as an appetizer.The smoked bone-in wings were delicious, but it was the complete opposite when our meals came. My mom's pulled pork platter was cold and the pulled pork had no flavor whatsoever. My brisket was very dry and difficult to cut, for how tough it was. The fire corn, more like the garlic corn, for that was all you could taste was the garlic. The fries were good, but I felt like I was in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Our waitress was very nice and understanding, for we don't like to complain, which is true but we know that we won't be back.Also when we walked in, most of the staff were goofing off and just standing around by the hostess area by being on their cellphones, instead of being attentive to the arriving customers.

Made reservations for 3pm for 5 adults and 3 children. We got there 10 mins before 3 and check in and they tell me that it will be an hour and a half wait! Like what are you talking about I made a reservation for 3 for 8 ppl and I have to now wait an hour and a half because you gave my table away before my reservation time. Wth kind of customer service is that and why even have it to make a reservation if they only going to give away your table to walk ins. So we decided to take tables side by side which was okay but very upset they gave table away for ppl that make reservations. If we decide to go back we are not gonna make reservations and see how that goes. Didnt know your considered a party if you have more than 7ppl. Waitress Courtney was awesome.
Even when they make a mistake like uncooked food the are super polite and fix the problem Been here a few times and over all it's a pretty good place for dinner or even business lunches.
