Amazing cheesesteaks, I got the classic jawn and was one of the best I’ve had. Perfect soft non-seeded roll, cheese was blended perfectly, ribeye was seasoned and cooked great and not dried out. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone.

Outstanding ! Jim and the staff are great, food is spectacular. My only issue is it's a Philly sports team place!! As a NY fan, Jim welcomed me with open arms and we had a great conversation. Cheesesteaks were top notch, better than anyone else in the area!!

Great steak spot where you can sit and eat in a Philly sports themed dining area. Staff is welcoming as well. I love "The Third Degree" with long hots. The tots are pretty rad, too.

Ordered the Jawn, whatever they call it. I guess these guys claim to be from South Philly and think it’s cute to try and use south Philly verbiage. Idiots. They kind of prove it by having cheesesteaks as bad as Pat’s and Geno’s. For the same price, you can get a MUCH better steak at at least two other places in the area. I won’t even name them. It’s easy to look them up and see how much. Water they are than this hole

Stopped in at Spenny’s today and they have the best cheese steaks I’ve ever had. Better than Philly even!! Juicy, cheesy, meaty, just the perfect amount ?? Service was great, the staff is very friendly, overall it’s a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Not bad. Will try again, maybe. Subs were good but not great. One order was a hot Italian(couldn't bake because there is no oven) and was told they couldn't do it hot because there was no grill space. I asked to change my order and was told that I couldn't. She stated that she had already started making my Italian already, so I couldn't change my order. The cheese steak was pretty tasty but on the small side. Prices were a bit high for the portion and quality. Feel free to try if you're looking for something new.

Just a bit dissapointing.

I found that the menu at this place sounded promising, I liked the options. However this kitchen suffers from the execution of these ideas.

First off, staff was nice and welcoming, even for a pickup order.

However, all of the food was pretty much just sad. I found that the Cheese Steak meat was not thinly sliced. In fact it wasn't sliced at all, it was closer to a finely chopped ground beef consistency, this leads to a horrible mouth feel and an overly packed sandwich. The cheese was also just put ontop rather than mixed with the meat after cooking, or even on the bun, resulting in a sandwich that tasted mostly like a ground beef sandwich.

I found that the old bay fries themselves were a bit flimsy and the fries themselves tasted bad and frozen (worse than store bought) had no seasoning, they rely on the cheese sauce for their seasoning (Which has old bay mixed in), which was just a bit dissapointing because even though it's conceptually creative, the cheese sauce also doesn't really taste like much either.

Funnily enough the sandwich had so little cheese i literally had to dip my sandwich in the cheese sauce for the fries.

I also got an order of chicken tenders which may have been some of the lamest chicken tenders I have ever eaten, they are the most tasteless bland chicken tenders that 100% went straight from the freezer to the fryer.

For such a cool location, interior and branding this buisness needs to step it up, please respond to this if y'all fix your game because I'd come back in a heartbeat, berks needs a cheese steak place with the spirit of this resturaunt.

Spenny's is what this area has been missing, a great sandwich place. Great end of the week option or for game day. Wish it had a sports bar vibe.

We got the pickle fries and "it's always honey" cheesesteak and they were both AMAZING. The bread is so good and didn't fall apart like so many cheesesteaks do. The l customer service was great and the restaurant is such a cool vibe. We will definitely be back!

Customer service is excellent. I’ve been here twice and it’s a Philly thang. It’s not your standard cheeseteak. Every place I’ve been to has its highs and lows and I can say that this place is unique. Chicken cheeseteak is my thang and I like it basic. The owner rocks ??
