As a Philly girl, born and raised, I would definitely say I am a bit of a cheesesteak snob. Got mad love for Philly, just can’t live there anymore. Moved out in 2006, to Florida. This past week my husband and I came up to visit family and of course, I couldn’t go home to Florida without cheesesteaks. My husbands uncle who is a reading native, recommended Spenny’s. Having never tried them. I was a little apprehensive but figured well I’ll take his word for it and we’ll see so I called up and ordered nine cheesesteaks to take on the plane with me and they were ready in less than 20 minutes and what an enormous huge hit, they were absolutely delicious and as a Philly native and a cheesesteak snob, I give Spenny’s 100 stars out of 10 and will DEFINITELY be back for more!!! Phenomenal!!

First thing first I am NOT the kind of person that leaves reviews 😂 but after eating that cheesesteak I just have to !!! Moved to the area from Philly in the spring and have been on a HUNT for a good cheesesteak!!! Everywhere so far has been very disappointing! I stumbled across spennys when I was googling best cheesesteak in reading, it wasn’t number one but after looking at some pictures I decided to go with spennys (I eat with my eyes first😂) WHEN I TELL YALL TEN OUT OF TEN !!!!!! Bruh these people about to know me on a first name basis do you hear me 😂😂😂😂 that cheesesteak was soooooooo freaking good I was completely shocked !!! I got the classic jawn with American cheese fried onions and extra mayo (although I don’t think I needed to say extra mayo but I’m so used to having to say extra mayo to avoid getting a dry sandwich), they forgot the hot peppers but honestly I didn’t even notice until I went to reheat it this morning 😂😂 had the egg rolls and cheese fries as well everything was top tier ! This is the only place I’ll be getting a cheese steak from here on out !!!!!

The best cheesesteak you can get around! They also now have amazing pizza; better than most pizza places. The staff is always friendly and the service is extremely fast. Would highly recommend to anyone. You can order anything off the menu and you won’t regret it.
Wow! We come up from Charlotte, NC 2 to 3 times a year. The wife is from here so she knows all the staple shops in the area. Since Covid a lot of these shops have closed or lost their IT FACTOR that made them stand out! Spenny’s is a small GEM in the city! Friendly staff which is a must since food is so expensive now! It makes the consumer feel better knowing that establishments appreciate you choosing them for a QUALITY meal. You walk in your greeted met with smile and your order is taken. The food is extremely fresh and I believe almost made to order. They even have sharp provolone! We’re cheesesteak and Italians sandwich lovers. The sandwiches are full and the steaks have FLAVOR. My only complaint was that my fries were a little cold and maybe not as fresh as they could be. However, it wasn’t enough to not let me give them 5 stars across the board. We’re in town for a family emergency and it’s nice to know we can get a quality sandwich/meal without so much other stuff going on. Spenny’s keep it simple , keep it quality, keep it fresh, and KEEP IT GOING! Quality over QUANTITY! Thank You for great food 3 days in a row! 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
Ok well I just had the best cheesecake I ever had in my life … yea that just happened. Got the hot honey cheesecake…. Wow . The sharp cheddar… the onions . Just wow. Well done spennys 👏👏👏👏👏 well done ❤️❤️
