Thank god! As a Philadelphia transplant for 8 years, we have endured mediocre pizza, cheesesteaks that automatically get sauce and onions and pirogies as a side dish in this area. Steaks were excellent (not with sauce and onions) on a real roll. Welcome to the neighborhood.

They’ve truly established themselves as one of the best sandwich shops in Berks County, consistently delivering quality across the menu. From their classic cheesesteak to the always popular Spenny fries, everything is done right. My personal favorite is their Italian sandwich, which stands out for its flavor, freshness, and generous portions.

Spenny's is like a slice of Philly transplanted into the Reading region. Their cheesecakes are awesome as are their french fries. I especially love their vanilla shakes which have a wholesome, fresh from the dairy, taste that can't really be replicated anywhere else in Berks County. The atmosphere is full. of Philly sports memorabilia although I think, by law, they are required to also serve Dallas Cowboy fans.
