While Candyland express has great things to offer, there are ways this shop can improve vastly. During each of my visits the Tongs and scoops for scooping candy from the jars are filthy. Having crusted sugar or stuck bits of gummies from all jars on the utensils shows that they are not daily cleaned, begging the question what bugs that could attract. The variety of the candies in each jar are vast and flavorful, so if you see what you like grab it fast and enjoy.
Also there are no twist ties or scales readily provided except at the register, so keep an eye on your bags weight. I also noticed on busier days (weekend events) the staff do not change gloves between ice creams, or waterices behind the counter (Which ew, and allergies).
While I reccomend visiting candyland for a quick sugar fix and to support a smaller businessover big box, I also reccomend not looking too closely at the quality of the general care to the store or the character of the staff if you want to enjoy yourself. And be sure if you're visiting due to a Facebook promotion, mention any sale discounts that you saw on the post otherwise they may not be honored.

Just spent time there with our autistic son for ice cream during their sensory friendly time. The woman working there was so lovely. So much fun checking out all the candy, current and from my childhood. So bright and colorful. Will definitely be making this a regular stop and a monthly trip for our son!

My family and I decided to stop by today. The store employee was super nice and pleasant. There was a nice variety of candy there. I was also able to purchase some of my childhood candies from the 80's. I highly recommend this candy shop.
