As an Irishman living in America for many years, this place is a gem. Excellent fish and chips and legitimate pint of Guinness. Possibly the best pint I’ve had in the states.

Excellent atmosphere l, service was great, best steak i have had in a long time! My wife enjoyed the chicken cheese steak. Prices are very reasonable. Would recommend.

Love this place. Got the scotch eggs. Stopped in here before going to see Nurse Blake with my coworkers. The woodwork is so cool, I hadn't been here for years but hope to get back sooner! I scarfed everything down but did manage one photo. :)

I was only in Reading one night and I'm so glad I chose this place! Everything was excellent - atmosphere, service, food. I had the crab cakes, my wife had the fish and chips (I sampled). Highly recommend both. And good choice of beer on tap. You can't go wrong with Guinness, of course.

We stopped at this very iconic spot to get a pint and a bite to eat before a concert. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs, even squeezing us in without reservations which was very much appreciated. The fish and chips were amazing, and the crab cake was delicious. They have a nice selection of beers on tap to boot. Parking is available on street or in some of the lots close by. Very much worth a trip downtown.
