Union Barrel Works Brew Pub & Restaurant

Beer was okay but the soft pretzel was good. The decor and atmosphere here are very nice though. We will try here once more and will alter this review upon a revisit if beer quality improves.

Excellent dining spot. the ambiance, the staff and the food are all above a 10/10. We love to take our family there or guests.

Went for dinner with my father, step mom, and my GF. (First time ever eating here for all of us) I ordered a burger medium rare with a few toppings including avocado. My burger was a hockey puck and was missing the avocado. My girlfriend got a burger as well but ordered it rare and with onions on the side. Hers was burnt as well and they put the onions straight on the burger. Everything else the table ordered including our food had absolutely no flavor to it whatsoever. We made it apparent to our waitress that we were extremely disappointed in everything. She had to talk to the manager who let her take 50% off of one of the burgers on the check. This is definitely somewhere that I will never step foot in again.

First time visiting here so I did my usual and ordered a few things. The food was very good and the service was excellent.Will definitely return.

I highly recommend the pork BBQ tacos and the Kölsch and Honey Mai Bock beers! So good!

Great food, great beer and an equally great time!! Had dinner and drinks with friends on 10/10 and was lucky enough to have live entertainment as well. We had a fantastic night and will definitely be back when we are in the area. Wish we lived closer because this would be a regular spot for nights out. Benjamin killed it and we'd love to see him again as well.

Certainly enjoyed our visit. Great historic location with wonderful details, look up when you are there and appreciate the old tin ceiling. Thanks to the Governor's restrictions on dining unable to fully appreciate their great old bar. Good mussels appetizer and a generous portion in the fish and chips meal.

We truly enjoyed this accidental find on our travels. We loved the ambiance of this old building. The bar itself is a work of art. They've got great bar food: pretzel and wings were fabulous! The service was superb. Their brews were ok. The hazy IPA wasn't really hazy. The flagship IPA, Hopknockers, was hazy and yummy.

Stopped in after seeing reviews and website. Serious, diverse beer offerings, fun old-timey decor, and man...the food! Boar burger to die for, a real porkapalooza. My Thanksgiving waffle was definitely big enough for 2 and tasted amazing, homemade happiness in our mouths. Our server Michele was super nice, friendly and attentive. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu! Absolutely recommend, stop in and see for yourself! Love it, we'll be back for sure. Keep up the great work, guys!!

We decided to venture to Union Barrel to try out a new spot and have heard decent things about the place - when we walked in the hostess/waitress was not wearing a mask, but it was also in between lunch and dinner service, she wasn't busy and if she had no customers, that wouldn't have mattered. We kind of expected her to go put one on. I was surprised when she came back to take our drink order and still didn't have one on or make any mention about her lack of mask. They also had their usual menus (not disposable) - we left not feeling they were doing things as they should be doing during a pandemic which was a huge shame bc the building itself looked like it had potential to be really great!
