I came to this restaurant with high hopes and left with frostbite—from the food. The only thing colder than my entrée was the server’s attitude, which could best be described as “existential dread with a side of eye-roll.” Luckily, salvation came in the form of the bartender, who was the only beacon of warmth in the entire establishment. She was so welcoming and polite that I almost forgot my soup tasted like it had been microwaved during the Biden administration. The waitresses seemed like they were being held hostage by the concept of customer service itself. Smiles were rationed, joy was contraband, and I half expected someone to slip me a note saying “Send help”. In conclusion: the bartender is excellent, the food is colder than my ex’s heart, and the entire waitstaff seemed to be actively mourning their life choices. Five stars for the bartender, two stars for the kitchen, and a polite nod to the waitresses, who I sincerely hope find happiness someday.

Good, cheap, or fast. A lot of places, you can only pick two. This place has all three. It's a quick stop with good food, you won't be disappointed if that what you need. Definitely going to be a stop from now on.

It looks like my experience was like others who posted today.
The servers seemed completely overworked but even though I tipped over %20 (just myself so was only $12) I would have tipped more if the server had shown even basic friendliness.

The food was okay. It was legit diner food. The French dip was really sad. It was sliced roast beef on a Kaiser roll. It was thrown together- chips were soggy. The service was absolutely terrible. One server outside with at least 10-15 tables. If you know it’s going to be a beautiful day, add two servers outside. I see you may be short staffed- better solution would be cutting the tables on half outside. The server kept forgetting things, pretty much all the tables surrounding us. It was hard to track down the server at any time. All the servers seemed angry and upset. Probably won’t be back.
The outside area was beautiful. Cool town.

The food was good. 4 stars because it wasn't out of this world but it was still good..I would definitely recommend this place.
My Waitress w the long hair was so nice and attentive. I don't recall her name but she was friendly and outgoing.. attentive to what we asked for and needed.
Waited over 30 minutes for a table. They didn’t clean the table. Then they gave the table to another party that came in after our party. Go somewhere else if you want to eat.

The review complaining about veal medallions and wilted salad is way off. We were there that night and that woman is impossible to please. Jess handled it professionally. We regularly dine here and love this place! Jess and Shawn usually wait on us but tonight we had Carly and she was equally attentive. All of the staff are great! They have a large variety of meals. This is great pub food. Simple and tasty!

Just great. I usually don’t post reviews but…. Sunday early dinner sitting outside light breeze. Food, service and the price, just great. Please don’t come all at once, I will definitely be back. Little German flare without being annoyingly German. And this comes from a German.

One of the few places to eat in this quaint community. Alicia was our courteous server and the food was delivered quickly. Bathrooms are clean and adequate. Had the Rachael sandwich and the crab cake platter. Both were tasty and professionally prepared. Never go antiquing on an empty stomach. this is the right place to start.
