Alcamo Italian Restaurant & Brick Oven Pizza

One of my family's go-to spots for a delicious Italian dinner. Always quick service in a rustic, cozy atmosphere. Portions are unbelievable! Enough for 2-3 meals!

Always a solid place to stop for some good pizza and the strombolis are great. I'd give it 5 stars, but I placed an order online and when I went to pick up, they forgot to pass my order to the kitchen so they had to rush my food. They threw in some free dessert for the trouble which is appreciated. As annoying as it was, they made it right and that's all I can ask for.

Pepperoni pizza was good. Do NOT order perogies, they were horrible. As far as their menu saying "free delivery within a 5 mile radius" this is a complete lie. I called to place a delivery order and they said we had to order through the "Slice" app to get delivery. So we did because we were in a hurry and didn't have time to look elsewhere - we live less than a half mile away, and paid quite a bit for delivery between that and service fees. FALSE ADVERTISING at its finest.

I absolutely love this place!!! Some workers seem like NPCs but ig it’s ok. Great atmosphere and I love the family that owns it. I definitely recommend tipping well. My waiters Jospeh and Quagmire were both absoulute dears , they is my favorite waiters ever.

Incredibly nice staff and our go to date night Italian restaurant.

The portions are basically all family size for the entrees and the appetizers are to be shared. So make sure you have the room if you are thinking of doing entrees for everyone.

Also try the specials if you want some truly fantastic dishes that you can't get at a lesser place.

We love Alcamos!! Our favorite dish is the Veal Parmesan and the seafood pasta with white wine and garlic They always give you plenty to eat, you will never walk away hungry!

Always worth going here. Food is fantastic, service is great. Definitely give the place a chance if you haven’t already. I love Italian food and Alcamo is at the top of my list for places to go for it.

Our regular pizza place was closed and I decided to try Alcamo. We ordered a 16 inch cheese pizza with bacon and mushrooms.

It was disappointing. Mushrooms were not fresh. My wife, who loves mushrooms and has run her own restaurant picked them off.
The bacon, as you can see in the picture was not distributed to the periphery of the pie and just lumped together in the middle. The crust was good and crispy, although in my opinion, it could’ve used a pinch more salt.

Perhaps they don’t get a lot of orders for mushrooms and it was old stock. Although I rated the restaurant four stars, based on this particular pie, it would have deserved three. Never the less I did not feel it was fair to judge the restaurant base on one “custom“ pie.
