Love the old building but wow was it loud inside! Food was pretty good though pricey. It was ok but I wouldn’t spend that much again on ok food. Server was way over the top to the point it was faked. Maybe would go back to eat outside but will go elsewhere likely
We have a private banquet in a function room at Rochester Mills. The food was good, but the event was hugely over catered: once we had all eaten enough the originally quantity of food was completely refreshed (almost all of which went to waste). Rochester Mills Beer Co. opened in 1998 in downtown Rochester in the huge, and historic, Western Knitting Mill building that dates from 1896.

We like the outdoor seating and the great service. I had the Muenster Chicken. The flavor was really nice, just enough heat. The spaetzle that the chicken was served over was well prepared, and fun. I just couldn't get past the chicken. The small portion was cool in the middle, obviously not cooked to order, it was reheated. The result was very dry unappealing small piece of chicken that was out of place on a plating if otherwise good food. We may return because we love the staff...read full review
