went to the one in pompano. Ordered the meatball and long pepper sandwich lunch special for $9.99. it was 1 meatball on foccia bread. I called the server and told her I think they forgot the meatballs. she confirmed with me that the lunch special only has 1 meatball on it. the sliced it super thin. it was horrible
Within two seconds of walking into the restaurant I observed the person handling all the food trays and pizza rubbing his face in his nose with his ungloved hand then proceeding to touch everybody’s trays and food without washing his hands. That’s something I don’t want to see when I walk into the restaurant, especially when everybody’s sick this time of year he had a glove on one hand, but not the hand he was using to touch and rub everything.
The sauce is very watery. The meatball not homemade. I was disappointed

Vito's Coal Fired Pizza & Restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with friendly wait staff attending to customers' needs. The menu features a variety of dishes, including pizza, salad, wings, fish, crab ravioli, and pasta. The New York Pizza and Vitos Calamari are highly recommended, with the latter's sauce being a standout. The restaurant's outdoor patio area, nestled beside a mountain, provides a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal, and the outdoor decor showcases the area's coal mining history. The large interior has a thoughtful design, making it feel more lively than a small town. Live music performances add to the ambiance, creating a lively atmosphere. The food consistently impresses, with many locals considering it a must-try spot. While service can sometimes be mixed and food may take a little while to arrive regardless of how busy it is, the delicious food more than makes up for it. The restaurant also offers a huge selection, including large pizzas and salads, with unique and delicious dressings. The crust on the pizzas, especially the fig & rosemary ham pinsa crust, is crispy, flavorful, and worth the drive down the mountain. Overall, Vito's is a great place for a tasty meal and a fun dining experience.
