El Tequila Sports Bar & Grill

My son was over charged for his girlfriend’s drink, and apparently after 10:00pm prices go up but they don’t tell you nor is written anywhere about it. We asked for manager about 4 times and until I got up and started asking around who was the manager that’s when she showed up, mind you she was in the dance floor the whole time and knew we was asking for her. The guy bartender told us we had to close our open tab after 4 drinks because he said he was finishing his shift 10:30 pm and when I said no because we weren’t finished drinking he got mad and went around telling other customers and talking bad about us. It was 1:00am and the guy bartender was still there attending customers so why did he wanted me to close my tab at 10:30? Idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ it was our 1st time there and the last one.

This place has a nice interior and the staff are friendly. The food is way overpriced and not worth it. We gave this place 3 tries. $12 for chips with cheese dip, over charged us for the house margaritas. $90 for nachos with just cheese, 2 entrees and 2 margaritas. They didn’t give us the receipt and just took our card so we couldn’t see that they overcharged us until they already swiped and then refused to give us a refund. Gave us another round of margaritas instead which we didn’t want. I ordered a birria quesadilla and got birria tacos. I still took it because the waitress was new and I wanted to be patient. They also didn’t have any heat on when we went and we had to wear our heavy winter coat. Last time we ordered tacos from here they were so dry and nasty. Spend your $$ elsewhere.

The food was great. The atmosphere was a lot of fun and our waiter. Jose was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend..

We have been here a few times and everything has always been good. They have THE BEST fountain coke!!!! Came today and they finally got their liquor license!!! The margaritas are delicious!!!I also tried the Sebastian Special and it was sooooo good!!! Tony was our waiter and he was so nice!! My favorite Mexican neighborhood restaurant!!!

Been here 4 prior times to today. All of our visits have been awesome.
Today’s visit was the best. Just went there for a quick lunch. Tony the bartender was excellent. He was extremely helpful, funny and very attentive to our needs.
The food has always been excellent. Recently started serving alcohol and we can’t wait to go back for dinner and drinks.

The food was fairly good and the margaritas very tasty. The prices were reasonable. Worth the visit. Liquor license is there now.

Met up with two friends here yesterday and I will not be returning. I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food and I was disappointed. We walked in and there was no greeter we just walked around the huge restaurant, looking at all the decorations. Finally, when I went to use the bathroom, a nice woman came out who also was our waitress. The chips on the table were average. I ate two or three, which is not the normal. I ordered my meal And I also ordered a to go meal for my boyfriend and even before I finished my meal, I canceled my boyfriend’s meal. The first thing was I just wanted water with lime and they didn’t have limes. A Mexican restaurant with no limes it’s a red flag. Skip to the table guacamole that tasted like smashed avocado and that’s it. No jalapeño no onion no cilantro no lime. Bland. Half of it stayed untouched which is unheard of. My tortilla soup was just OK. The broth just tasted like chicken, I ordered steak with the regular sides and the steak was OK. The rice and beans came out cold and I told the waitress and she brought out a second batch that was just warm. She said she didn’t understand why it’s coming out like that since it was freshly cooked and I have to agree. I don’t understand either. my girlfriends chicken was very tough to cut and her rice and beans were cold also. It took about 40 minutes to get our meal even though there were only two other people in the restaurant. The place itself is gorgeous. I am a Latin descent and there was just no seasoning not to mention the fact that the restaurant had just opened for the day and the food is already cold. I paid $50 to leave confused.

I went to eat at the restaurant and I really liked the theme of the place. It's impressive and the staff was very nice to us. We will eat there again without a doubt.

I was excited to try El Tequila. The colorful decor caught my attention and my love for Mexican food. I ordered the Birria Tacos which had zero flavor. The broth it’s served with was also tasteless. I tried seasoning the broth myself to give it some flavor. This was very disappointing and thought I found a go to Mexican spot.

The food and the service were excellent. The prices were a little high for the portion size. None of the tvs were on for sports on a Saturday.

My husband and I were running errands one day and decided to stop for lunch for the very first time. It definitely had all three qualities, food was wonderful, the service and the atmosphere is amazing. As we continue to stop in frequently I learned that they also have a few halls for events which was perfect for me and my husband since we were planning to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We thought it was absolutely perfect for us and our family. Let me start by saying this, if you are in need of a place for any upcoming events this is definitely the place. Not only do they cater but they also decorate to your taste and make everything absolutely perfect. Leticia and her staff are by far the very best. If I could give them ten stars I would. I am truly grateful to Leticia and her staff for an amazing job they provide.

Stopped in after a Costco run. The place is beautiful and Rita is super friendly and efficient. I ordered a lunch burrito...
Beef.... Delicious! It came with chips and salsa. Also the guacamole that is served with the burrito is excellent. Great festive music . Rita told me about Taco Tuesdays and other specials. I'm going to like them on Facebook and keep up with their events. It's BYOB right now but I think that's a good thing. Next time a nice spicy Rioja to go with this excellent food. Beautiful job remodeling!!!!
