About Saylors Inn

Saylors Inn offers a dining experience where the customer is the priority. Guests have enjoyed Sunday brunch, with the Italian eggs Benedict and the hash both described as delicious. The atmosphere is very nice, comfortable and inviting, with a dining area beautifully furnished with an air of casual elegance. The menu is small but thoughtfully creative, with featured weekly specials and a Sunday prime rib offer, so there is something for anyone. Meals have included the Steak Argentine, the Grilled Salmon, the Spaghetti Squash, and the short rib burger, all of which looked great. The homemade bread is served warm, and meals come out hot, quickly, and beautifully plated. Service stands out, with staff going out of their way to make guests happy, even checking on ingredients and making drinks not generally ordered. The outdoor patio looks absolutely gorgeous. Reservations are required, which helps make for a relaxed dining experience. Dining out with a group is not inexpensive, but the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere makes it well worth it. Guests leave happy, full, and glad they chose to celebrate there, and would absolutely return. Good people, good food, and highly recommend.

After we arrived, my SO, who lives in Saylorsburg said that he hadn't wanted to go here, that he'd been there before many times (prior owners) and it was not good and there was no way it would be good. He was eating his words by the end along with the delicious food. I wish I could go into every detail, but nobody's got time for that, so I'll just tell you two quick stories to give you an idea of how much they want you to be happy. I had noted their limited bar on the way in,...read full review
Recently had dinner here for the first time -- but definitely not the last. We were greeted and seated by Galen, the warmly welcoming new owner of the Inn. The menu was small but thoughtfully creative and with the featured weekly specials and the Sunday prime rib offer, there was something for anyone. Our table of four were very happy with our meals and the service. The dining area has been beautifully furnished lending an air of casual elegance without hiding the 200+ year old...read full review
