First and last time I’ll ever go there. The waitress was very rude, didn’t allow us to order drinks. I asked for a Diet Pepsi, she brought it and slammed it on the table, didn’t ask anyone in our party if they wanted something to drink, was only given water. Food was not good at all. Would not recommend anyone to go there!!!

The garlic pizza is otherworldly. And this place has Mary Lou, my favorite waitress ever. She's been there since 1987. They do accept cards now, but I think you have to tip in cash.

Staff/owner was extremely rude. The pizza is bland in taste for the $$$! I sadly would rate dominos better! Sad!

My lovely bride and I went with another couple to Mangialardo's for the first time. The service was excellent, considering the only server also had to make pizzas and salads due to a lack of kitchen staff she told us. 3 of our 4 meals were very good, chicken marsala, lasagna and homemade fettuccine with meatballs. I had the rigatoni and meatballs. The meatballs were homemade and delicious, the sauce was good but the rigs all fell apart when I put a fork in them. We also had a red pizza for the table that was delicious. The table bread basket had their garlic pizza in it which was fabulous. All in we would return for another meal.

It started off great when the people who came in after us were seated before we were greeted, both same sized party. Once seated, we had to wait 10 mins for menus. Then, it felt like the waitress had a personal vendetta against my husband and I and continually ignored us. Food brought out all different times. Youngest food out first, 20 minutes later we got half of our entrees-no side of spaghetti until we were done with meal and entree was cold. Two hour long dinner when it should’ve been one with the lack of people in the restaurant. Food is not worth the wait or lack of service. Save yourself the trip.

Came in for dinner in a fairly empty restaurant and didn’t really know where to go to get seated. Once we got seated we waited 25 minutes and no one came over to our table. A group of ten or so came in and someone came over to their table within 5 minutes and brought them bread and waters for their table. We got up and left.

Old style....beautiful wooden interior...great local restaurant..spaghetti with meatballs,side salad,bread basket-it was a simple meal-done as it should be...

Service and staff was good, we enjoyed ourselves. Food was great and filling. Only thing that I would say that's bad is that you can't tip with a credit card, it has to be cash.

This Restaurant has been operating here by the same family since the 30s. If you like real homemade Italian dishes~ from the old family recipes ~ this restaurant will knock your socks off. From the Lasagna to the Spaghetti and Meatballs to the Garlic White Pizza ~ no other Italian restaurant compares. The atmosphere will take you back to another time when the railroad was running in the town and Frank was playin' on the radio. The prices are very reasonable too. .. It's fun to sit in the bar area where the bartender will tell you stories from that time if you just ask. They make super drinks and have great wine as well... I've been going here all my life and it's still my favorite Italian restaurant ever. :-)

A little dark inside, and exiting into between entrance and exit door no light at all. Food was good. My husband had spaghetti with meatballs , salad with blue cheese crumbles and anchovies. I had broiled haddock with side spaghetti and a salad. Had to ask for a drink refill. Waitress didn't ask my husband if he wanted a refill, so he complained about that on the ride home afterwards.
