Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

BUYER BEWARE. I WAS THERE JULY 17. Between 3:00-3:30. My bill was $4.87. Handed the older woman a $5. Bill. GOT NO CHANGE. I alerted her. She got cocky turned around opened register and basically thru the change in my hand. HAD SHE NOT COPPED AN ATTITUDE AND TRIED TO RIP ME OFF SHE WOULD HAVE GOTTA A DOLLAR TIP. Not to mention the tip jar is shoved in your face at the window. I posted this on Facebook. SEEMS TWO OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW, HAD THIS HAPPEN THERE. Add up all the change people did NOT RECIEVE. you just lost 3 customers. BYE BYE.

Usually even if there is a line, it goes pretty quick. Never had an issue with an order being wrong. Always consistently good.

Who doesn't absolutely love Rita's!?! I ordered a galati. Swedish fish and vanilla custard. So good! There was no line too, so that's a plus! Staff was super friendly. I love this Rita's!

I had the window shut on me

I stopped at this location at 3:00 in the afternoon on a sunday. I stood at the window for 10 minutes and knocked 3 times on the window before someone finally came to help me.

We got to the store at 8:47pm (you close at 9pm) and we're told, sorry we are closed. We already started cleaning up.

If u say you work until 9pm than work until 9 pm..it was 8 50 when I got there with the kids in the rainy night tonight and they said we are closed, they didn't even feel bad for two little kids ..shame!!

I'll go to any other one then this one. The first time we went my husband and I ordered the same thing but two different people made it. I got a large he got a small. Yesterday we went and it was more like shaved ice then Italian ice and it tasted just like that, ice. No flavor, nothing but huge chunks of ice. Like they took a knife and shaved the ice themselves. What a huge waste of money.

I stopped last night 8/11/24 around 6:30. There were 2 younger men working. 1was working and the other was sitting on the freezer where the ice is stored and was getting scooped out of the same freezer.
There were probably 8 people in front of me and yes only 1 was helping customers. When it was finally my time to order I asked if it was sanitary having someone sitting on the freezer right where the ice was being scooped out of and also just sitting around while customers were waiting.
The one working agreed and said something to the other. Boy did I get a dirty look . I am not sure if I will go back to this location. Someone sitting on where the have product stored.

Rita's is ritas...always quality ice with good flavor. The employees were veey nice as well. The only reason it's getting 4 stars is they do not have mobile pay, I had forgot my physical card and only had my mobile wallet on my phone. It made me look like a complete jackass in front of my now girlfriend on our first date. It's 2024, mobile payments aren't a new thing and I'm just surprised I guess...

My concrete was only like 1/2 full in the cup. Serious? I had issues like that before here last year. Time to go to a different location. I don't know if the franchise owner is telling their employee to skimp on filling the cups all the way.
