the rolls they gave us were brick hard to the point were you couldn’t even stick a knife through it and secondly i got chicken parm and i physically couldn’t even bite into it for it being this much money you would think that they wouldn’t have this problem i need better.
The food and service was outstanding!! And the view is amazing.
Was very impressed with the quality of food and the service! The appetizers were savory. The fillet mignon was very flavorful. And the drinks were excellent. The view is priceless!
We reserved seating by the window to enjoy the spectacular view. The drinks & food were delicious! We sampled each other's food & everything was amazing.
The chef's menu changes every month & I enjoyed the Mexican fare he prepared. The elotes appetizer, chorizo soup & empanada were all on point. The spicy margarita was the best!
Great food and friendly staff.
The salmon was thin, overcooked, and very hard. I couldn't even cut it with the knife. Salmon, when properly prepared, flakes with a fork. The rosoto was good. Not apologetic for the inedible salmon which was mentioned to the wait staff and very evident by the way it was left on the plate. The other entrée of seafood was overcooked as well. We paid full price and it wasn't worth the $98 we spent. No plans to stop in there anytime soon.
Response to owner: Thank you for your response. Our server said it would be passed on to the chef. There was a person visiting the tables around us, asking how everything was, however, no one came to our table to ask us.
The first time we went, everything was great. But the last 2 or 3 times, it's been uneven. They're very friendly, but there's been too many times when it it literally felt like the wait staff had gone on a break. And the food is hit or miss. I had Eggplant Parmesan yesterday, and the eggplant seemed to have returned to its former state—gelatinous muck. And there was so little sauce that the angel hair pasta, which seemed to be cooked properly was to dry to eat. By the time you get some extra sauce from the kitchen, the pasta's cold; you know the drill. My wife's shepherd's pie was mostly flavorless. I mean, come on, garlic and salt is pretty cheap. Our salads were excellent, but I don't use standard salad dressings, so I had to eat it undressed because I assumed that by the time I got some lemon wedges to squeeze over it, the entree would be coming out. Mostly my fault, I guess, but it just seems like there was a time not so long ago that service was more attentive at decent places like this one seems to be. The only reason we went is that we didn't really feel like cooking and we had a decent conversation going on that we figured would be better facilitated by the ambience of Summit View than our media-forward living room (gotta do something about that, right?). We've actually gotten to where we order the cheapest things on the menu because it just doesn't pay to order the more expensive stuff. The odds of getting something good seems to be the same across the board. The owner is really nice and she comes around and looks us in the eye to make sure we're happy but we just feign satisfaction because trying to resolve things just gets old and tiring. We also realize that food service jobs are pretty thankless, so we tip heavy and complain little. The desert was great, btw; we had the Peanut Butter Mudslide and caramel-drizzled cheesecake. You really couldn't go wrong with either, frankly. Oh, and their excellent Bruschetta appetizer has pretty reliable for us. If it seems like I'm generally disillusioned with eating out, you got it. To be honest, we're pretty much over it as a pastime. We're enjoying a lot more home cooking for a lot less hassle and money. We've actually considered buying some plastic meal containers to fill up for our upcoming vacation. I don't fault people for keeping on keeping on trying to make a living, and I wish them all the success in the world, but something extraordinary is going to have to happen to get us back to eating out a lot. If you depend hopelessly on prepared meals, YMMV here, but we just expect the worst for entrees, and are sometimes pleasantly surprised. Stay tuned for more senseless rambling. And, no, my name's not Eeyore - lol. 🧐😆🤪😁
I just noticed that the owner is replying to unfavorable reviews with passive-aggressive comments, so that's not at all a good look.
The bottom line is that this place is a little too expensive to justify some of the spotty product and service.
Had a great time with family and friends
Love the food and atmosphere. We went there recently for a belated birthday dinner, and they were so nice to embarrass me with a happy birthday and a candle lit cake. It was quite nice of them to do it. Really wasn't expecting it.
An old friend had their wedding here, it was beautiful, very pretty. The setup up of the restaurant was such that we were separate but in the middle of the Saturday evening dining crowd. The view is marvelous

Wow! First time here and everything was amazing. From the appetizers, salads, dinners, craft beer, service and atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back.
Completely horrible service! Went for Valentine’s Day and it took 2.5hrs to get our food, waitress Noel was very ignorant and rude! Owner came to us after we got our food 2.5 hrs later and our table of 8 was told not to come back if we don’t want to wait that long for our food! Took an hr to get our salads and soup, 1/2 hr to get first round of drinks, 45 min for second round! Honestly stay away from this place! The owner ran a few businesses into the ground already and this one will be next🤬🤬🤬
Extremely long wait of about an hour for food! Wouldn’t have minded so much if the food was decent, but my Delmonico steak was tough and brown on the outside and pink inside. Sweet potato was tiny and the size of a small apple and cold. Corn was cold. Sons appetizer kabobs came 5 minutes later and had 2 small
Kabobs for $15. Steak is marked as MP and my Delmonico was $44 and wife’s prime rib was $48! Wouldn’t have had a problem paying this if it was high quality but not the case here. First visit in over a year and won’t be back anytime soon and really a shame because it’s nice looking restaurant with beautiful decorations.
Very nice looking place. Unfortunately the food service was very slow. Almost 45 minutes to get French onionless soup. $28 for a small slab if fried salmon. Eek. Risotto was soggy old and cold. Floaters in the plastic water pitchers. Salad was well liked, but it was odd to have mixed greens with ceasar dressing. Included with the bread basket was a used butter pad. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Food is absolutely delicious!!! Cranberry chicken should be on the menu all the time!! Also had a dinner party for husbands retirement there, they were very accommodating and let me picked my own menu, wings were amazing.. wish they were on menu all the time too!! Great restaurant, even the kids love it!
