Bought the worst sticky buns I have ever had. They were in date... but were so stale and dry... like sawdust

I went to the Sunny Cupboard and bought a few things, including a blueberry pie with crumb topping. When I got the pie home I tried to cut a piece. The pie was so hard that I used my fist to knock on the top of it and you could actually hear the knocking! I had to use my sharpest knife to cut into it. When I finally got a piece cut out, the filling did not look right, there was white streaked through the blueberry. I would not even taste it. I put the piece i had cut, back into the pie and I took it back to the store. When I entered the Sunny Cupboard I stopped just inside the store, not sure who to speak to. A girl, that was just standing there, saw me and deliberately ignored me. Regardless, I asked her if there was someone I could speak to about a pie I bought. Her response was... she ignorantly pointed her finger to the left. I had no idea who or what she was pointing at. After I stood there a few more mins a woman came up front. I explained to her about the pie. I even knocked on it for her. She just looked at me. Then she got her own knife, cut into it with some force and actually said to me that she sees nothing wrong with it. I told her that the blueberry pie I had gotten before, the crumb topping was soft and the pie delicious, nothing like this one. She then told me that there is butter in it and if I had it in the fridge it WILL be hard, she sees NOTHING wrong with it. Really? So hard that you can knock on it? Why do you keep it in the fridge? She told me that I already paid for the pie, I could try it again. Umm, nooo, it's too hard to even attempt to eat it. Again, she said that she sees NOTHING wrong with it. Needless to say, she refused to do anything about it. I told her I would not be returning to their store and I left the pie there. She did NOT care at all! They only ever have 1 pie of each flavor, i thought it was due to lack of business. i now know they don't sell many due to poor quality. The cost of the pie was $10.50, which to me is a lot, considering that I can go to Walmart, Giant or even Bill's Produce and buy a Blueberry pie for $5. I paid the extra for "homemade quality" from a small business lol. Such a shame when you try to give a small business your business and they neither care about your business nor do they care about their quality.

Stopped in here several times for a sub for lunch. I did my last order over the phone and it was basically ready when arrived 10 minutes later. Got some cold tea to go with it and was out in no time. Very good customer service and a friendly Christian atmosphere. Highly recommended for some good subs. They put a lot more meat on then Subway.Kid-friendliness: Children are welcomed here. Obedience and respect is appreciated.Parking: Right out front.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options.
