Calypso - Mediterranean Cuisine

What a gem of a restaurant located in Skippack Village. We had lunch here the other day and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and well-made. We loved it!

I think our waiter should have let us know what dishes on the menu were not available BEFORE asking for our order. One of the dishes we wanted was not available which we learned while ordering so I felt pressure to come with an alternative suddenly. A table next to us had the same thing happen.

The food was delicious - we got the spanikapita dolmas shrimp and orzo moussaka baklava and the lemon raspberry cake - all were fresh and made with love. It's a really small restaurant so we opted to site outside

Outdoor patio is really comfortable, with lots of shade from the umbrellas, making it a great place with such a beautiful ambiance. The service is very friendly and attentive, so it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some of their delicious homemade menu items.

We celebrated our anniversary and it was such a wonderful experience. The hummus and dolmas were both fantastic. The hummus was so creamy with just the right hint of garlic and lemon, the dolmas were perfectly seasoned with rice and herbs. For the main we split the beef kokkinisto and it was amazing. The beef was so tender and cooked in a rich, flavorful tomato sauce with cinnamon and other spices. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Thank you so much, will definitely be back!

Waiter spilled appetizer on my wife's lap and white pants. Didn't offer to do anything about it other than to apologize. Notified restaurant it was was my wife's birthday and there was no acknowledgment. Food was decent and patio was nice, but the service and waiter was severely lacking.

Truly tasty food. We sat outside, sunlight dappled through the trees. So nice. If they cleaned up under the porch, which just looked like storage, it would be perfect. Waitress remembered us from our last visit - very welcoming .

We adored this place. Sitting outside in such a lovely atmosphere was a delight. Our server was wonderful.

Atmosphere was wonderful. A bit hot upstairs and to hot to eat outdoors. Food was good though not exceptional.

This BYOB serves authentic Mediterranean food. We loved being able to dine outdoors.

Excellent food. There were 4 of us and all of our dishes were great. Live that it's a byob. Will definitely return!

Calypso is a small restaurant (be ready to walk up a flight of stairs) with great service and superb food! It is byob so it feels less expensive since we weren't paying for the liquor mark ups. It was reasonably quiet despite the music ambience playing and we were able to have real conversations without screaming! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious Branzino with crab risotto - best we have ever had! We sat outside in lovely garden area. Our waitress was very attentive and we will be back!!
