Been eating here for a couple years now at least. HANDS DOWN BEST OXTAILS WITHIN 90 miles! I eat everywhere- Scranton, Wilkes-barre, Stroudsburg, Allentown, NONE COME EVEN CLOSE. I stay in Scranton area and take the 40 min drive for these $35 oxtails RELIGIOUSLY. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT. Portions are great. Food taste amazing. This place is truly a hidden gem 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. Blessings!
Really a gem that my fiance randomly looked this up during a long road trip as I was hangry and really craving amazing Caribbean food on the way back to Pittsburgh. I've been looking for a Caribbean restaurant local to me for a while. Unfortunately, the Poconos (where I live, anyway) are pretty vanilla when it comes to any sort of ethnic restaurants. Caricom Spices Restaurant is a bit out of the way (45 minute drive from my house) but well worth the travel time. Their food is amazing (I had the oxtail) and the woman behind the counter greeted me with a smile (a huge plus in my opinion) and filled my order with speed and efficiency. I...
