Very disappointed drove an hour for pastrami. It’s regular deli meat that you would get from a regular deli. served cold but will warm up no effort put into steaming it or anything. There is an after taste from some sort of ingredient that is in no way comparable to pastrami.

Abe’s serves the best Reuben I’ve ever had—hands down. The difference is 100% in the meat. Perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. One bite and I was hooked. If you’re a Reuben fan, this place is a must. WOW 🤩

Small but nice deli with a good selection of cafe style foods. Has gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Seemed like a family owned business and they all were very welcoming and friendly.

Beef bacon egg and cheese was amazing brought back memories of home originally from Long Island it was really nice to walk into a Jewish deli and have the same atmosphere as I would get back on the island everything looks excellent can't wait to go back and try me some macaroni salad and nice roast beef sandwich highly recommend

Very good food, very quick service but on the pricier end of lunch places around downtown Scranton. Should definitely keep that in mind when going there.

This place has amazing sandwiches worthy of a 4.5 out of 5, maybe even a 5 out of 5. I love eating lunch here. My only issue is that the last 3 times I ate here something has been wrong or unusual about the pickles that is serve with my sandwich. I will call it “picklegate”. The 1st incident my significant other and I ate lunch at Abe’s and she was served a half eaten pickle with teeth marks and all, that happen to make it onto her plate and served. It was immediately the first thing we notice when the plate was placed in front of us and served. Abe's deli resolution was just to get her another pickle and presumably called it even. Another incident my parents came and visited and I’ve rave and ranted about how amazing Abe’s sandwich’s are. My mother could not stop talking about how amazing the corn beef on rye tasted but, once again picklegate struck….. I ordered a turkey pastrami sandwich with Russian sauce nothing extra. I notice my pickle had coleslaw sauce and mustard on it…. My only conclusion is that Abe’s recycles their pickles off already served plates. I hate to leave a negative review because Abe’s deli has some of the best sandwiches. Although it’s my own personal conspiracy base off accounts dining at Abe’s, I feel it is necessary to share. I would still recommend eating here for lunch but not their pickles.

DELICIOUS!! We've passed Abe's Delicatessen many times and finally decided to stop in! It's a cozy deli with limited seating. Our waitress was wonderful!! You really felt at home. We ordered the pumpkin soup, corned beef reuben and potato pancakes! YUMMY!! Highly recommend!
