Amazing people and great options for food. Pancakes are the best and if you’re looking for something a little different get the most popular lox and bagel sandwich.

Food was next level! The Rueben was the best I've ever had. Bread was perfectly toasted. Potato pancakes were great, Mac salad amazing. Service was great too. 5/5, no notes. Will definitely be back!

Abe's is a kosher deli. The food was top notch. I had the pastrami on rye, the sandwich was perfect. The pastrami tasted yummy and the rye bread was fresh and lightly toasted. We also try the knish, which was also very good. We left there full and pleasantly delighted. It was so good we planning our next trip to Abe's.

It's a fantastic Jewish deli. Crowded interior and nothing to gawk at, who cares though, that's not why you go to Jewish delis. Order the brisket and gravy, it's salty as hell and addictive beyond belief, and the Reuben is solid. They also happen to sell some of the best Rugelach I've had in a long time, but I don't know if they make those in house. Definitely one of the best places in Scranton.

Beware of the all day breakfast. After 10:30 am. It becomes ala carte. So that means. Toast, eggs, sausage or bacon, fries, coffee. Are all charged separately. So a breakfast platter that should cost 10- 11 dollars becomes pricey. I was going to go back to get a pastrami sandwich. Changed my mind. It felt sneaky to me. That they did that.

Last time I had pastrami this good was in the 80s at the carnegie deli.
Excellent food and service.

My first vist to this establishment and now one of my favorites in all of NEPA!
Started with a cup of Matzo ball soup. Perfect flavor!
I had an amazing NY style Pastrami Reubin. Portion size for the sandwich rivals all others. The homemade pickles had a perfect blend of flavor and crunch. My wife had the Mediterranean sampler- again, the flavors and freshness were beyond compare.
Service was prompt and very pleasant.

The best Jewish deli you're going to find in the valley. You'd have to drive to NYC to find anything comparable

Great place!
Notice they close at 16:00.. we arrived 20 minutes before, and couldn’t sit, and the grill was closed😓
But we still think this place is awesome!
We went to a park nearby and enjoyed the food a lot!

If you are near Abe's Deli you really should stop in. We were greeted by a number of very friendly staff. From the moment you walked in, you knew you're in a very popular spot. A number of people came in and where greeted by name. And the pastrami reuben and oatmeal raisin were excellent.
