When entering main dining, the first thing we noticed was the piano player, which is a super-cool touch! He played some fun songs, including some of his own, cracked jokes, and also interacted with the crowd while not being intrusive at all. My wife and I each got a martini (Dirty Gin for her and Honey Nut Cheerio for me) and both were delicious. As an appetizer, we got Eggplant Melanzane, which was light, had great flavor, and a delicious vodka sauce. My better half had a Caesar salad with probably the best Caesar dressing we have ever had. I went with the gorgonzola salad that had a nice, tart raspberry vinaigrette. For our entrees, she had the chicken special, which featured thin chicken breast and portobello mushrooms in a port wine sauce, topped with gorgonzola. It was very earthy and deep, a worthy special. I had the Pollo Sambuca, which is the same thin chicken breast with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sambuca sauce. It was very flavorful and slightly sweet. The anise is there, but not distracting. This was a solid meal! Our server, Thellenza, was attentive and informative. She made sure we understood all of the specials and took care of anything we asked. The rest of the staff is also helpful, too, and we were never in need of anything for long at all. The adult beverages that we enjoyed were definitely tasty, we just wish they had more of a wine and beer selection. Food: 9 Service: 10 Atmosphere: 10 Adult Drink Selection: 8 Overall: 9.25”

Juggling two new grandchildren and doing the college traveling leaves my husband and I barely enough time to talk yet go out to a restaurant. We chose Bar Pazzo as our date night and what a great choice it turned out to be.
The environment is classy and lively, the patrons all come together to share their favorite meal or visit their favorite server. Seeing the crowded restaurant and witnessing a line of people eager to get in was just another validation of a good choice to dine there.
The staff is family and greets everyone with a warm greeting and pleasing attitude. You instantly feel welcomed here.
Our food was being prepared behind a small glass window where you could see the synchronicity' of a true team working together like well oiled machine.
We ordered the Scrantonian pizza, a local favorite for the pepperoni lovers out there. The crust was impeccable and finally we didn’t have to fight out the delicious pepperoni cooked to perfection. The desserts and drinks reflect the staffs creativity all made on premises fresh. The gelato is my favorite!
If you’re looking for an upbeat, classy, pizzeria with exquisite culinary talent take the time to visit Bar Oazzo. It’s worth the wait!

“RUN here to have what was one of the most surprisingly delightful meals. We sat outside as we had our dog- but the interior gives off a warm speakeasy vibe which can range from cozy date night to memorable group dinner. We were BLOWN away by the level of service from the staff. So many came to talk to us and the beer knowledge was impeccable. When we honed in on a beer they just automatically brought a sample and you could tell this place really loved their products and informing guests about them. The cocktails also looked great but we didn’t partake. I love the rotating beer concept. You’re always going to find one curated (bespoke) version of 20 beer styles. Love a Belgian Quad (we do) - you’re ALWAYS going to find one! On to food. We had a great soft pretzel, one of the pizzas and a salad to share. Lots to choose from here but we kept it simple (and vegetarian). The pizza is wood fired- great crunchy crust. Salad was fresh and on point. The menu rotates (think farm to table) so I won’t dwell on what I had but instead URGE you to go try this for yourselves. I’m thinking Scranton might be a regular place to overnight for a weekend getaway with this gem here. I would drive here again simply to come here. (For reference I’m about 4 hours away). Oh and I forgot to add the dessert was the perfect light bite to end this gem of a meal.”

“We happened upon this restaurant while we were visiting Scranton for the Italian Festival. We walked in on Sunday afternoon and the bar was open and they allowed us to have a drink and cool off. After speaking with Jennifer about a reservation for later in the evening she put us in touch Benny, the owner. He said they could accommodate our party of eight for a 6pm reservation. Angelica was our primary server but others, including Benny jumped in a gave us a great experience! All of us walked away with one of the best restaurant experiences we ever had. And the crazy thing is with the festival going on right outside their doors and being crazy busy they did an exceptional job making sure we always had a beverage and communicating with us! Was our final night in Scranton and it was by far the best night! Thank you all and definitely recommend this place to anyone!”

I can’t tell you how many nights this place has fed me. The price is reasonable, there are so many things to buy outside of the food, and the take out is actually amazing. I recommend the mango shrimp with lo mien instead of white rice. Best Chinese dish I have had. I am welcomed like family and will never forget this place. The area was clean upon arrival and accommodated whatever we asked for. We had ~70 guests with more than enough standing room. We also had a live DJ and a photographer. I brought in cocktail table which helped bring out my vision more as I wanted limited sitting to ensure people socialized. Bartenders were super friendly and provided great customer service to my guests. 20/10 would I recommend and definitely an awesome place to host a party!”

The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. Not to mention what Pat is doing with the outside patio…. it’s such an asset to Scranton and the sad thing is, no one knows it’s there! do yourself a favor, pass out DD and ⭐️ bucks for the BlackWatch Cafe Nay Aug Park in Scranton,PA!”

“It was a take out order so I can't review or give a rating for that. Service was fast. They were there earlier than expected. Food was as expected with Olive Garden quality. Portions on the salad are great. Last time I ordered Olive garden the portions were a bit smaller than I would like for the price.. However I understand they have to do what they need to fo sometimes to remain in the green. All in all it filled me up and tasted great.”

“Went to the So Scranton restaurant. I went thru the drive thru. Just wanted a quick chicken sandwich. The girl who took my order....super nice. I don't understand why people like that other chicken chain...(chick filet). Popeyes basic chicken sandwich is far superior in taste. Loved it. Just wish it was closer to my house. But then again, maybe it's best that it isn't. ?”
