We had reservations for NYE at 8:00pm. We checked in right at 8 and we were told that they were just getting our table ready. At 8:30, we were still waiting.
Other people were coming in and were being seated promptly (and their reservations were AFTER ours).
The manager was extremely rude, did not apologize, and said "we were more than welcome to go eat somewhere else". When we asked how he would rectify this, he said he would comp us a dessert. We only ordered one dessert...read full review
We recently hosted a funeral luncheon at Bukatini. The food was delicious and the service was Phenomenal! I highly recommend!!
Outstanding in every way! Nice size pours of wine! Red house sangria was delicious too! The food was unbelievable every course! Crunchy pops of omg flavor Calamari! Butterflied shrimp appitzers. My husband’s pork chop out of this world! I loved my seafood risotto lots of clams shrimp and calamari throughout! Yum. For dessert we melted with every spoon full of our cognac custard with fresh berries and crème……Sorry Ruth’s Chris they are right up there if not better!...read full review

Bukatini at Posh offers **amazing food** and **spectacular service**, with **5 star** **food quality** that is some of the finest in Scranton. The **beautiful and eclectic setting** and **atmosphere** are also very nice, and the **oak bar at the front of the building** is a favorite spot for a **cosmopolitan** or **old fashioned**. **Pricing is very reasonable** for such an establishment, and the **owner** often checks in with guests, which is a good sign.
However, **bar service** and **drink service** are a frequent disappointment, often being **slow** with **long delays**. On some visits, **drink orders were forgotten**, and one guest had to go to the bar to place and collect a **soda** order after nearly 30 minutes. **Service** can also be **disjointed** or **rushed**, with staff clearing appetizers before guests are finished and bringing entrees early. The restaurant is **very popular on theater nights** and has a **limited menu** on those days, which can make the **staff** feel **frazzled**. There is **limited parking**. Despite these issues, the food consistently earns high praise, and guests **cannot wait to go back**.
