One of my favorite restaurants around! The staff is so kind and the food is ALWAYS on point!
First time here and the experience was AWESOME! The best mexican tacos I'd had in the east coast, much more for the Scranton area! Delicious food, well seasoned, quality of ingredients, presentation, prices and customer service are second to none! We felt like we were back on the west coast! They got us as permanent customers!!! 💝
The service is EXCEPTIONAL. The food is delicious. The tortillas and tortilla chips are so fresh, the queso and guacamole is second to none and did I mention the service? Hands down the best.

Based on reviews, El Buen Amigo Mexican Restaurant serves the best authentic Mexican food on the East coast. The food is full of flavor with fresh ingredients, great portions, and reasonable prices. The chicken burrito is possibly the best ever, and the tamales are amazing. Homemade tortilla chips and buffalo dip are excellent. The tortas are the best. The strawberry margarita tastes like fresh summer strawberries. The staff is super friendly and always goes above and beyond. Everything is always delicious. The restaurant added a little gift bag for loyal customers for the new year. Customers drive from an hour away to eat this food, and it makes them feel at home.
